Lidcombe samurai sword stabbing: Man rushed to hospital

A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed multiple times with a samurai sword.
Emergency services were called to Ann Street, Lidcombe, around midnight on Sunday following reports of a stabbing.
A 26-year-old man was allegedly attacked by another man who was brandishing a sword.
He received multiple stab wounds to his arms and legs.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before taking him to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police arrested another 25-year-old man at the scene.
The two men do not know each other.
