Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy has been seen in public for the first time since she posted about her grief for the One Direction star following his tragic death.
Cassidy, 25, left Argentina two days before the singer plunged 45 feet, aged 31, from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires last Wednesday.
The actress was spotted this weekend in Florida picking up dog food for the dog she shared with Payne.
Cassidy walked down the street with two friends while holding a bag under each arm.
She and Payne had originally flown to Buenos Aires to see her former bandmate Niall Horan’s concert on October 4, but he remained in the country after his girlfriend flew home on October 14.

On Friday he broke his silence to pay an emotional tribute to Payne. The post on her Instagram read: ‘Thank you for all the kind words and love you have sent my way.
‘I’ve been completely lost. Nothing about the last few days has seemed real to me. I ask and pray that you give me the grace and space to deal with this privately.’
‘Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know that I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.’
Cassidy and Payne began dating in October 2022 and made their debut on the Fashion Awards red carpet that same year.
The couple then put split rumors to rest by enjoying a date night in London in June 2023, and later that year she supported him when he was rushed to hospital with a “serious kidney infection.”
The former One Direction star fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur Palmero hotel.
Police and prosecutors continue to investigate the tragedy which is being treated as an “inconclusive death.”
The autopsy determined that he died from multiple injuries.

The main investigator, prosecutor Marcelo Roma, requested that histopathological, biochemical and toxicological studies be carried out to confirm whether the musician was drugged and intoxicated.
With results expected to take between 10 and 15 days, Argentina’s National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office is currently treating his death as “inconclusive,” it emerged.
His father, Geoff, traveled to the Argentine capital to visually confirm that the body is his son’s and arrange for his repatriation to the UK once authorities release him. His funeral is expected to take place in November.
Today, two workers at the hotel where Payne fell to his death are being investigated for supplying drugs to the star in the days before the tragedy.
The men are accused of smuggling them into the singer’s suite at the hotel.
A cleaner and another member of staff are said to have hidden the drugs in a box of Dove soap that detectives found in Payne’s room after his death.

White powder, crystals, tablets and other paraphernalia were discovered in the third-floor suite.
Police have sent the chemicals, believed to be cocaine and crack, for analysis.
It is believed that the management of CasaSur, in the exclusive neighborhood of Palermo, learned of the unusual behavior of the anonymous men and fired a member of staff.
Detectives have also questioned them about their possible role in Payne’s death.
“There were two guys in the hotel who were giving Liam drugs,” a close friend of Mr Payne revealed.
‘They sent taxis to pick up the packages. One of the boys was working in the cleaning department. After Liam’s death, they noticed that a taxi was sent to the cleaner’s home address.
‘The hotel manager asked him why the taxi had gone to his house and, unable to explain, he was fired.
“The police questioned the cleaner and another member of staff.”
The friend added: “Liam was doing his best to stay clean but as soon as he got to the hotel these people offered him alcohol and drugs.”
Representatives of Hotel CasaSur have so far refused to comment.
