Liam Payne’s first posthumous song will be released on Friday, two weeks after his tragic death.
Before his death following a fatal fall from a hotel balcony on October 16, the One Direction star had been in the studio with Grammy winner Sam Pounds.
Sam has now announced that the song they had been working on together, titled Do No Wrong, will be released this week.
The producer hopes his song will “overshadow the negative echoes” and provide some “healing power” to his loved ones and fans as they mourn the devastating loss of the 31-year-old pop star.
Sharing the song’s artwork, an angel with a broken heart above his head, on X/Twitter, Sam wrote: “I pray this is a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed of.

Sam recently revealed to his Instagram followers that Liam was interested in Chris Brown appearing on Do Know Wrong.

It comes as it was revealed Liam was in the process of walking away from his failed solo music-making ventures on the day of his death after having filed papers to resign as a director of four of his companies.
Documents recently published at Companies House reveal that on the same date, the pop star filed papers to resign as a director of the four firms through which he channeled his income for recordings and live shows.

One called Hampton Music Ltd was valued at £17,300 last year, while the singer’s Hampton Records Ltd, worth £300,000 in 2022, had fallen to just under £75,000, accounts show.
Its live music division, Long Play Touring LLP, also saw its value fall from around £135,000 in 2022 to just £17,000 last year.
Ultimately, his company Hampton Publishing Ltd was valued at just £729.
Tragically, the musician was in talks for a tour in 2025 before his death.
The star was reportedly in negotiations for a series of live dates next year, but friends were worried he wouldn’t be able to handle the time on tour.
A source said The mirror: ‘When it emerged that Liam had been talking to new people about a series of dates, there was a lot of unease among his friends because they thought it was a bad idea.
“Liam had parted ways with management about six months ago and it would not have been something they would have recommended at this time.”
Liam previously spoke about his second solo album at a fan event and revealed that all the songs tell a story from his life.
He said: ‘This time, the scariest part is that each of these songs is a story from my life. And they are very close to me.
“I hope people feel that in every song, that I really felt whatever you’re feeling right now listening to this.”
He added: “We’ve rewritten a lot of these songs based on the idea of where we’re going with this and also how I feel as a person.”
‘I used to turn up to sing a song and then leave. Absolutely not this time. We’re going to have fun with this.’
Before his death he had been enjoying a long vacation in Argentina with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy (seen with the singer)
