One star absent from this year’s lineup is Mark Wright, who revealed to MailOnline in February that he would not be appearing at Soccer Aid due to a scheduling conflict.
In an exclusive interview, Mark said: ‘On a personal level I have decided not to do Soccer Aid this year.
‘I’ve been doing it for six years in a row now and I love it, I love the cause and would love to be involved and still raise money for Unicef.
“When I’m in the area I might still watch the game, but I just have to keep myself free around that time.
“I have to let someone else go and maybe I’ll come back next year, but for now I’m taking a year off.”
Soccer Aid airs Sundays at 6.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
