Liam Payne released the upbeat video for his new feel-good single Sunshine on Friday.

The 27-year-old singer’s latest song is out at 20th Century Studios and Locksmith Animation’s animated comedy adventure, Ron’s Gone Wrong, hits theaters worldwide in October.

In addition to being a song for the film’s upcoming soundtrack, Liam also voices a character in the comedy.

The official music video for Sunshine, featuring the former One Direction star in movie themes and all-new movie footage, echoes the single’s feel-good themes.

The singer-songwriter brings pure positive vibes through the lavish video, as he is filmed relaxing at a breakfast table with a chicken, lying carefree in the grass and dancing in front of a bulletin board.

The film’s plot revolves around Barney, a socially awkward high school student, and Ron, his new walking, talking, digitally connected device, which is supposed to be his “best friend out of the box.”

Ron’s hilarious breakdowns take them on an action-packed journey in which boy and robot learn to accept the wonderful sloppiness of true friendship.

In addition to Liam, Zach Galifianakis, Jack Dylan Grazer, Olivia Colman, Ed Helms, Justice Smith and Rob Delaney is a selection of the additional stars who voice characters in the animated film.

The future film will be directed by Sarah Smith and Jean-Philippe Vine, with the former co-writing the script with Peter Baynham.

Ron’s Gone Wrong hits theaters October 22.
