Liam Gallagher reveals his ‘new family member’ to his fans on social media as he rescues a dog from Thailand
Liam Gallagher has adopted a dog from Thailand after the ‘very brave’ pet was rescued in the jungle.
The Oasis legend, 50, was all smiles as he played with his new family member Buttons in a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In another photo, the singer was seen cuddling in bed with the adorable dog as they slept next to each other.
Liam revealed: ‘After three months in foster care she was ready to travel 6,000 miles around the world. She was a very brave girl and her life was changed forever.”
In the caption he added: ‘From getting dumped in the Thai jungle to this. You couldn’t make it up Buttons.

A curious fan asked how Liam went about adopting one of their rescue dogs, with the rescue revealing that he “signed up just like everyone else.”
They wrote: “He applied like everyone else and then we found out it was *that* Liam Gallagher?!!!”
It comes after Liam recently vowed to continue his raucous behavior until he is 80.
He said in Sky documentary Liam Gallagher: 48 Hours At Rockfield: ‘I don’t like yoga and I don’t eat tofu. I drink lager and I like to have fun. I don’t punish myself by being a super skinny guy.
‘I am who I am. I’m not a fifty-year-old preaching. Hopefully I’ll be like that when I’m 80.’
Elsewhere in the programme, Liam revealed that Oasis secretly split in the 1990s, long before they finally went their separate ways in 2009.
During the making of their album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales, Liam and his brother Noel, 54, had a huge row after going to the pub.
Liam said: “We were there for about six months.
‘We broke up and then we got back together. There was a bit of a fight, there was a cricket bat, there was an air pistol, there was a lot of drinking.”
