A mural showing Liam Gallagher in an oversized parka has appeared on the chip shop wall and people are all saying the same thing online.
The Oasis star’s mural, 52, which runs above Maine Road Chippy in Ashton New Road, Manchester, features Liam in an oversized hooded parka.
However, people have compared the singer to a “roast chicken” in the mural which is part of a partnership with clothing brand Stone Island.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, people left their thoughts on the artwork, which overlooks the Etihad Stadium, the home of Liam’s beloved Manchester City FC.
One person wrote: “It looks a bit like a roast chicken at Christmas.” Another added: “Will it be cooked and ready for Christmas?”

Someone else said: “It looks like he’s wearing a condom.” Meanwhile, another said: “That’s horrible, not even he can do it.”
The brown jacket Liam is wearing is called Stone Island’s Glass Cover-TC and retails for £2,145.
The artwork is accompanied by Liam’s answer to the question of what his favorite city in the world is, to which he replied: “Manchester City and Manchester the city.”
In August, Oasis fans celebrated the band’s reunion by descending on a record store immortalized in their hit, Shakermaker.
Sifters Records in Didsbury, Manchester, was where the Gallagher brothers started buying music when they were young.
This is referenced in the song Definitely Maybe in the line written by Noel that says: “Mr. Sifter sold me songs when I was only 16, now he stops at traffic lights, but only when they’re green.”
Superfans came together to enjoy their little piece of music history as the famous brothers unveiled a mammoth run of stadium tour dates next year after a 15-year hiatus, including four dates each in Manchester and London.
Sports journalist Razz Ashraf, 29, drove to the store before work and called the meeting a “monumental moment.”

Rushing to X, formerly known as Twitter, people left their thoughts on the artwork, which overlooks the Etihad Stadium, the home of Liam’s favorite team, Manchester City FC.
Speaking outside the store, he said: “I’ve just been playing (Oasis songs) Shakermaker and Columbia, I’m excited.”
‘This morning I set my alarm for 7:30, woke up and felt pure excitement and ecstasy. It’s an amazing feeling. They have reunited after 15 years.
‘I’ve come to Sifters, that’s where it all started, that’s the record store where they bought their records before forming the band.
‘The owner was the one who educated them in music and there is a large mural on the side. I wanted to feel the energy from where it all started.
“I’ve been to the store several times but never seen this mural, it’s impressive.”
The line about Sifters was supposedly born from a frustrating taxi ride between the Gallagher brothers, when Liam begged Noel to hurry up and finish writing the song.
The taxi stopped outside the shop in Fog Lane, named for how one “examines” the records and run by Peter Howard since 1977, for which Noel wrote the lyrics.

Sifters Records became so famous that owner Mr Howard told the Manchester Evening News that he had been asked to sign autographs as “Mr Sifter”.
The Gallaghers, who shared a notoriously volatile relationship, split Oasis for good in 2009 after a backstage fight during the tour.
A public war of words broke out over the next few years and it was believed that the couple had never been in the same room since.
Earlier this year, the band announced they would return in 2025 for the first time since splitting up following a backstage row at the Rock en Seine festival in France, to play gigs in Manchester, Cardiff, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.
The band will also embark on a tour of the United States, Canada and Australia.
It comes after the band announced that Liverpool-formed Britpop group Cast would be Oasis’ second opening act on the 19-date UK and Ireland tour.
Cast leader John Power, who began his career at The La’s, said of the tour: “I’m impressed with the reunion.
‘Oasis is the voice of a generation and the songs they wrote and sang were and continue to be the soundtrack to many people’s dreams. They are the town’s band.
‘I’ve known Noel and Liam (Gallagher) over the years, we go back a long way. It’s been a journey, a journey.
‘I have felt and known his music personally, as a fan. It inspired me as a songwriter, opened up the whole scene like never before and reached far beyond the stratosphere. Everything changed.
‘We were all part of that and we will all be part of this. I’m especially looking forward to revisiting my family’s Irish roots when the tour comes to Dublin. May the first chords shine and shine next July.’
Former Verve singer Richard Ashcroft has already been announced as the tour’s opening act.
It’s a coming full circle moment for the Gallagher brothers, who supported The Verve in 1993 as one of their first national tours.

Liam Gallagher has teased news about X in recent weeks. On September 13, a fan asked: ‘Does Ashcroft support the UK shows?’ He replied, ‘That would be BIBLICAL.’
Ashcroft is an old friend of Liam and Noel, who supported The Verve in 1993. Noel also wrote the song ‘Cast No Shadow’ as a tribute to Ashcroft.
