Fans of the Wonderwall singer, 52, who is set to reunite with his brother, Noel, for a tour in July 2025, branded his performance at Wembley on Saturday “terrible”.
Dubois shocked the world and knocked out AJ in the fifth round of their IBF heavyweight title fight on Saturday night.
But after performing a three-song set (Rock n’ Roll Star, Supersonic and Cigarettes and Alcohol), fans didn’t hold back, with some saying they were glad they didn’t get tickets.
The much-criticised performance came after many were left disappointed when technical difficulties on the Ticketmaster website and sky-high dynamic pricing prevented them from securing tickets for Oasis’ tour next year.

British rivals Dubois and AJ finally met inside the ring to fight for the heavyweight title inside a packed Wembley Stadium and, to the surprise of many, it was Dubois who emerged victorious.
From the start of the fight, ‘Dynamite’ Dubois put on a sensational display, showcasing his immense power and scoring a knockdown in the first round.
Despite what some may say was a “terrible” show, Liam helped make history and the show became the biggest live boxing event in British history.
The previous record for the largest attendance at a UK boxing event was 94,000 fans for a 2021 fight between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte.
Among the 96,000 fans who packed the stadium were Love Island’s Maya Jama, Connor McGregor and Emma Burton.
But after performing a three-song set – Rock n’ Roll Star, Supersonic and Cigarettes and Alcohol – fans were left in a frenzy by their “appalling” performance.
The concert was reportedly so “embarrassing” that it made some Oasis fans “thankful they lost their Oasis tickets.”
In an interview with X, one fan wrote: “I’m glad I didn’t buy Oasis tickets after hearing Liam Gallagher perform.”
Boxing legend Tyson Fury also made an appearance with his son Tommy, who was booed when he appeared at the stadium following his split from Molly-Mae Hague.
And some enjoyed the performance, as some fans watching the big fight at the time said the Brit was still “the man.”

And boxing fans in attendance also seemed happy to see the singer, as they could be heard chanting “Liam, Liam” between songs.

Frank Warren, president of Queensberry Promotions, commented ahead of the event: “We’re going to see something special. For me, there’s nothing better than two Brits in a competitive fight.”
“I think Daniel will prove himself. I’ve believed in him from day one. He’s overcome trials and tribulations and he’ll keep that belt.
“He will prove that he is the IBF champion. We have a new guy in the group. This guy can fight, he can punch. He has mobility, he is fast and he is a good finisher.
“Dubois hits harder than AJ and one thing is for sure: don’t blink in this fight. I think this heavyweight fight will be Britain’s Hagler-Hearns – that’s how exciting it will be.”
