Liam Gallagher, 51, was mobbed by fans as he and his fiancée Debbie Gwyther headed to a car in Manchester.

Liam Gallagher was seen getting into his car as he left his Manchester hotel on Wednesday evening.

The 51-year-old musician and his fiancée Debbie Gwyther were mobbed by fans as they tried to sneak out of the building and were bombarded with cameras.

The singer kept it low-key by wrapping up in a black coat and gloves, while carrying his essentials in a Gucci shoulder bag.

Meanwhile, Debbie appeared to be wearing one of Liam’s signature trench coats as she covered up in the green ensemble.

The pair headed to the O2 Apollo Manchester as Liam took to the stage to perform alongside John Squire following the release of the duo’s new album.

Liam proposed to Debbie in 2019, after six years together, during a romantic trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

Liam and Debbie began dating in 2013 and he moved into her house, although he only divorced his first wife, Nicola Appleton, the following year.

The couple were due to marry in May last year but were forced to postpone after Liam underwent a double hip replacement.

Although they had already booked their big day on the shores of Lake Como, the couple decided to turn the trip into a family vacation, in the middle of the rocker’s road to recovery.

A source said The sun at the time: “The wedding was supposed to take place last month, but in the weeks leading up to it, Liam and Debbie decided to postpone it.

“Liam is still recovering from his hip operation and wants to be on top form when he says I’ll do it for the third time.

“They were joined by sons Gene and Lennon and daughter Molly and enjoyed a relaxing break.”

Liam has been married twice: first to actress Patsy Kensit, and then to All Saints singer Nicola Appleton.

The former Oasis frontman has four children: sons Lennon, 24, and Gene, 22, with Patsy and Nicola respectively, and Molly, 25, from an affair with Lisa Moorish while he was married to Patsy, and Gemma, 10, from an affair with Liza Ghorbani while he was married to Nicola.

Revealing how they came to work together during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show earlier this month, Liam explained: “At Knebworth, John came and played on one of the tracks at the end.

“So in the rehearsals leading up to it, I hadn’t seen him in ages, so I said ‘what have you done?’ and he said, “I wrote some songs.” I said, “Who sings them?” and he said, “Well, you are.” And I was going to take a year off and that, you know what I mean? So it’s his fault.

When asked what his first choice for songs was, Liam told John: “You were looking for a girl, weren’t you?” And then you ended up with this one. John jokes: “Yeah, I need new management!”

Explaining why they wanted to work together, John said: “We know each other musically well, I knew we would always be on the same page.”

Liam admitted that John was part of the reason he wanted to start his own band: “I was always inspired by John’s band, you know what I mean? That’s the first band I went to see, The (Stone) Roses.

“I was 15, 16 years old and that’s it, it changed my life,” he said, adding that after that he knew “All I have to do now is learn to sing “.

When the Stone Roses ended, John said: “I think I kept writing songs, I actually formed another band, The Seahorses, and then I had loads of kids.”
