Liam and Noel Gallagher are predicted to earn a staggering amount of money from their Oasis reunion tour

Liam and Noel Gallagher are predicted to earn a staggering amount of money from their Oasis reunion tour.

And a lucrative deal with a major company could allow them to earn even more with an exclusive line of products.

The Britpop band have announced a series of dates in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin in July and August.

While fans rushed to get their hands on tickets, those who weren’t lucky enough to score some can still get their hands on two new exclusive t-shirts, in collaboration with Amazon.

The online retailer’s Oasis merchandise store has released a black T-shirt, featuring a photo of Liam, Noel, Paul ‘Guigsy’ McGuigan and Tony McCaroll and a white T-shirt featuring the cover of the band’s Definitely Maybe album.

Along with the new t-shirts, which are on sale for £24.99, there are also two vinyl packages, one deluxe commemorating the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe and the other pressed on a pink and white “strawberries and cream” disc.

Oasis’ reunion tour will give the UK economy a “supersonic” boost with demand for accommodation and hospitality growing in cities hosting concerts, experts have said.

Hotels, pubs, bars and restaurants close to the concert venues will now benefit from fans wanting to make the most of the band’s long-awaited return.

Payment provider Summary The tour is now estimated to boost the UK and Ireland economy by £350m, with fans spending around £350 per show.

In addition to spending on tickets and merchandise, the company projected total spending of £112m on travel, £76m on hotel rooms and £22m on food and drink. It also estimated total capacity across all venues on the tour would be 1,007,888.

Average travel costs are expected to be £111 per person, plus hotel rooms priced from £111 in Cardiff to £158 in London for two adults sharing, £40 on merchandise and £22 on food and drink on site, plus an estimated cost of £100 per ticket.

Research by Barclays analysts predicted earlier this summer that the US pop star could provide a £1bn boost to the UK, although experts said today that spending by Oasis fans would be high but “might not reach those dizzying heights”.

Ticket prices will be revealed this Thursday before going on sale at 9am on Saturday, with the Manchester Evening News reporting that they are expected to be priced at over £100 and possibly closer to £140, but this is not yet confirmed.

Tickets for Liam’s Definitely Maybe tour this year cost between £53 and £108, while tickets for Noel’s gig at High Flying Birds in Wigan last month were priced between £60 and £110.

And a MailOnline investigation has found that some hotels have quadrupled their rates when Oasis gigs are scheduled, with fans having to pay almost £700 a night for rooms.

Music industry expert Professor Jonathan Shalit said the reunion would raise more than £400m, with Noel and Liam earning more than £50m each.

Thomas Pugh, an economist at RSM UK, said the tour “will undoubtedly be a phenomenal sales success, which will also lead to a surge in demand for accommodation and hospitality in those cities lucky enough to host a concert.”

‘This potentially represents a very profitable opportunity for the hospitality industry, especially for hoteliers.

‘For example, Taylor Swift and the Foo Fighters saw hotel prices in Cardiff, which will also host an Oasis concert, rise by up to 500 per cent.’

Greater Manchester night-time economy adviser Sacha Lord estimated that the band’s performance in the city would benefit the city’s economy by more than £15m.

“The impact of hosting 80,000 people each night for the four concerts planned at Heaton Park cannot be underestimated,” he said.

‘Events are not just about ticket sales, they have a huge impact on the local area and our hotels, pubs, bars and restaurants will see the benefit, including additional hours for staff as well as renewed global attention on the region and its cultural history.’

Meanwhile, music expert Kevin McManus has claimed the battle for Oasis tickets will “completely surpass” the one seen for Swift.

More than 4 per cent of the population requested tickets to see Oasis at Knebworth in 1996, the highest demand for concert tickets in UK history.

Some 250,000 people were able to see the band over two nights (also a record), but Oasis could have sold out another 18 shows at the Hertfordshire venue.
