Levi Roots has broken his silence on social media after being kicked out of the Big Brother house on Friday.

Last week, the 65-year-old entrepreneur became the third housemate to be rejected by the public, followed closely by Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

After reuniting with his family and returning home to Northamptonshire, the father-of-eight took to his music Instagram page to update his fans and reveal the “game plan” he had at home.

Levi shared: “Two weeks of incredible self-discovery in the Big Brother house. First of all, I wanted to say thank you to everyone.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and thank you to everyone who allowed me to be myself, who allowed me to be the authentic Levi Roots, who I am.”

He continued: “It’s been an absolutely incredible journey. I went there because I wanted to find myself in a different way.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve been on stage, since Dragons’ Den 17 years ago, so I really wanted to connect with these young people who maybe weren’t even born when I joined Dragons ‘Den in 2007.

“I’ve had such an impact on young people with my music, with the food and the sauce.

“I wanted to get back to a situation where they can see me in a different light and maybe I’m not shown on social media or on TV.

“Because in the house you have to be authentic yourself, or at least I was anyway.”

“I didn’t expect to stay in the house this long, but I did and it’s because I tried to be myself at all times.

“That was my game plan, was not to pretend to be anyone other than Levi Roots.

“I am very grateful for the messages I have seen and to be home with my family. The key message for everyone is to always be yourself.

Levi revealed: “I didn't expect to stay in the house this long, but I did and it's because I tried to be myself at all times. That was my game plan, it wasn’t to pretend to be someone else.

While Levi was happy to update his fans on his life outside the house, Ekin-Su has maintained radio silence since his bizarre Late and Live interview.

On Monday, she threw ITV’s Lorraine into chaos when she inexplicably canceled an appearance on the show at the last minute.

The reality TV veteran, 29, who won Love Island in 2020, was kicked off CBB on Friday night, after which she caused a storm on social media by insisting she had been badly edited on the show without a real description of his behavior.

As Lorraine Kelly teased her upcoming show on Good Morning Britain, she told host Susanna Reid that Ekin-Su’s planned appearance had been canceled in mysterious circumstances – leading to a sarcastic dig from the by Susanna.

Lorraine, 64, said: “She was supposed to come but no. We are trying to find out. She wasn’t happy, sometimes you think it’s fiction, but she really wasn’t happy at all.

Susanna then made an apparent reference to Ekin-Su’s proclamations, saying: “That’s why I like live TV because then you know what really happened and there’s no of criticism of the edits”, to which Lorraine replied: “Yes, the direct is much better”. ‘

Ekin-Su’s withdrawal comes after her Late And Live descended into chaos on Friday as she clashed with Layton Williams following his eviction from the house.

She tried to “blame the editing” for her unfair portrayal on the show, but Layton, also 29, was having none of it and told her she was dragging the movie. explosive argument with Marisha Wallace during Thursday’s episode.

While some called the former Strictly star a “bully” and said he did to Ekin-Su what others did to him during his time on the dance show, others were not. disagree and dubbed him the “voice of the people.”

She broke down in hysterical tears after Marisha picked her in the head-to-head nominations before rushing into bed as the 38-year-old music star followed behind to apologise.

Speaking of the dramatic performance, which saw Ekin-Su score the theater star as “fake”, Layton hit back at the reality star by revealing his full support for Marisha during the confrontation.

Ekin exclaimed: “When Marisha nominated me, it showed me her true colors, that she had been thinking about winning the game the whole time.

Host AJ Odudu tried to reason with the star by suggesting: “Well what we have to remember, you know she’s American, it’s strategy, game.”

But Layton was quick to chime in, explaining, “Marisha basically had to choose someone and she chose you, just like you chose Louis.”

“Louis crushed it, you know, and kind of kept it moving and unfortunately, you dragged it and I kind of felt compassion for Marisha at that point.

“I was like, you know what her big day is, we just found out she was nominated for an Olivier Award and saw her cry in Big Brother…” while Ekin-Su interrupted: “You did it” I didn’t see everything they cut, but ok.

Yet Layton was having none of it, as he replied: “Don’t blame the editing, one thing we’re not going to do is blame the editing.”

“We do not blame the person responsible for the assembly. We see what we see and it was just a shame, it was a real shame.

While host Will Best opened it up to the audience to try and get some support for Ekin-Su, he had a hard time finding an audience member who was on his side.
