Leonardo Ulloa of Leicester City has finished his four year stay at the club and has joined the Mexican team Pachuca.

The striker spent last season's back-end on loan at Brighton, but only managed two goals during his time there.

Ulloa, who moved to Leicester from Brighton, scored 20 goals in 101 appearances for the club and helped them win the Premier League title in the 2015-16 campaign.

"Leonardo's contribution to the club has been significant and he will continue to be a popular figure among players, staff and supporters alike," Leicester said in a statement.

Ulloa's teammate at Leicester, Islam Slimani, has been sent on loan and will spend the season at Fenerbahce.

The Algerian international Slimani struggled to get a starting job since joining the Portuguese team Sporting in 2016 and was loaned to Newcastle United last season.

Fenerbahce, who was Galatasaray's runner-up in the Turkish Super League last season, started their campaign with a 2-1 home win against Bursaspor on Saturday.

Leicester, who lost 2-1 to Manchester United in their first game of the season on Friday, will host Wolverhampton Wanderers next weekend.
