Their upcoming film Gonzo Girl will be the directorial debut of Oscar winner Patricia Arquette.
The project is based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Cheryl Della Pietra and will be adapted by Rebecca Thomas and Jessica Caldwell.
Set in 1992, it follows an aspiring writer named Alley Russo (Morrone) who has an exciting new job as an assistant to legendary ‘gonzo journalist’ Walker Reade (Dafoe), where she lives at his compound/party house in Aspen .
