Leonardo DiCaprio enjoys a stroll around Florence with Tobey Maguire

A casually dressed Leonardo DiCaprio was seen taking a late night stroll with his actor best friend. Tobey Maguire on Saturday night.

The couple were joined by a huge group of friends as they strolled through Piazza della Signoria in Florence.

Leo, 48, and Tobey, 47, were recently pictured together on James Packer’s yacht in France during the Cannes Film Festival and it looks like they are getting along just fine.

Earlier today, Leonardo was having a history lesson on Monday when he was pictured inside the historic Medici Chapel with his family.

The Hollywood superstar had a big smile on his face as he went largely unnoticed as he dated his father George, stepmother Peggy and another family member.

He kept a low profile with a baseball cap and shorts. T-shirt and sneakers as he snapped some quick pics of one of the girls at the party for her.

The Medici Chapels were built – partly by Michelangelo, in the 17th century as a mausoleum for members of the Medici family and now serves as a museum.

The following morning, Leo was pictured sticking his head out as a girl entered a waiting car with the hood up, although it’s unclear what the connection is.

The Italian holiday comes just days after Gigi Hadid, 28, and Leonardo enjoyed another evening with his father and stepmother in London.

The model and Oscar-winning actor were both seen arriving at Chiltern Fire Station in London on Wednesday.

It was their second night in a row in the capital, after they went to dinner with Leo’s parents at China Tang on Tuesday.

The couple’s romance reportedly died down in February, but despite the apparent end of their brief relationship, the two were spotted together several times in May and have reportedly been hanging out again recently.

Leonardo has a very close relationship with his father, who separated from the actor’s mother shortly after he was born, and married Peggy Farrar two decades later, in 1995.

Struggling for money in Leo’s early childhood, George found work as an asbestos and fire roofing fitter before striking out on his own with the start of a waterbed business called Foggy Bottom.

George also made a name for himself as one of the leading figures in the underground comedy scene as a writer, publisher and distributor – before guiding his son Leo in his early on-screen career.

While Leonardo is an award-winning Hollywood actor, his father had a brief foray into the movie world.

The elder DiCaprio recently had a small role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 1970s coming-of-age comedy Licorice Pizza.

He played a wig shop owner and waterbed salesman who convinced the film’s protagonist (played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Cooper) to start his own waterbed business.
