Leonardo DiCaprio and acclaimed filmmaker Martin Scorsese dressed to impress as they attended the glitzy Air Mail Party during the 76th Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.
Apple TV+ film Killers Of The Flower Moon, which starred the Oscar-winning actor, 48, and directed by Scorsese, 80, notably received a nine-minute standing ovation after its Saturday premiere.
The Inception actor wore teal pants with a matching blazer for the event, and added a black button that he chose not to tuck in for a casual touch.
He put on a pair of black sneakers and easily carried a black cap in his left hand as he strolled through the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc where the festivities were taking place.
Martin also dressed for the occasion wearing a dark navy blazer with a matching waistcoat and a crisp white shirt.

The filmmaker added a light blue tie to the look and slipped into a pair of sleek black shoes to complete his ensemble for the star-studded evening.
The two stars, who have worked on a number of projects together over the years, were seen chatting as they stopped by the event in the middle of the annual festival, which ends on May 27.
Their latest Apple TV+ film, Killers Of The Flower Moon, has received high praise and praise from critics since its premiere at the festival on Saturday.
The project is based on a 2017 documentary book titled Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, written by David Grann.
Some of the star actors include Leonardo, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, Lily Gladstone and also Jesse Plemons.
The premise follows, “Members of the Osage tribe in the United States are murdered under mysterious circumstances in the 1920s, sparking a major FBI investigation involving J. Edgar Hoover,” according to a Synopsis IMDB.
After the film was screened at Cannes, the project received a huge nine-minute standing ovation, per Variety.
Scorsese addressed the cheering crowd to express his gratitude and said, “Thank you Osages. Everyone connected with the image. My old buddies Bob and Leo, and Jesse and Lily. We shot this a few years ago in Oklahoma. It took a while to happen, but Apple did just fine with us.

He continued: “There was a lot of grass. I am from New York. I was very surprised. It was an amazing experience. We lived in this world.
The three-and-a-half-hour film had a $200 million budget and notably premiered 45 minutes late at the festival on Saturday. The film was also Martin’s first film to screen at Cannes since his 1985 project, After Hours.
The delay to the start of the film has not deterred the slew of positive raves, and already has a current score of 95% on Rotten tomatoes.
Words like “scorching” and “masterpiece” were used by critics who managed to get their hands on a ticket for the first screening.
IndieWire said DiCaprio gave “his best performance ever”, while The Guardian gave five stars for a “remarkable epic about America’s bloody birth”. There were a few dissenting notes, with the Times calling it “a wet squib”.

The red carpet itself for the film’s premiere attracted a number of celebrities, such as Cate Blanchett, Salma Hayek and Paul Dano.
Leonardo and Martin have worked together on a total of six feature films to date, including The Aviator (2004) and The Wolf Of Wall Street (2013).
Robert De Niro, who recently welcomed his seventh child, has also collaborated with Scorsese on numerous projects, such as Goodfellas (1990), Taxi Driver (1976) or The Irishman (2019).
After Killers Of The Flower Moon premiered in Cannes, the film is set to hit theaters later this year on October 20.
