Leon Black has hit back at the woman accusing him of raping her at Jeffrey Epstein’s house, saying she was lying not only about the attack but also about Down syndrome and autism.
Black is being sued by the woman, who has not been publicly named, for her claim that he violently attacked her on a massage table at Epstein’s house in 2002.
He says his lawyers at Wigdor Law Firm are determined to smear him and bleed him out of a settlement.
Jane Doe’s case is Wigdor’s third lawyers’ case against Black, a longtime associate of Epstein, who paid him $158 million over five years for tax advice, and paid $62 million to the US Virgin Islands prosecutors to stop him from suing Epstein’s estate.
Black has already beaten one of the lawsuits brought by Wigdor on behalf of her ex, a Russian model, who said he raped her.

Now he’s fighting that case and another of Cheri Pierson, a former receptionist who claims she too was abused by Epstein and he doctored her to Black.
In legal documents obtained by DailyMail.com today, Black admits sending a private investigator to Jane Doe’s parents’ home, but insists the visit was not designed to intimidate them, as she claims.
Rather, he says he was simply doing his own research on his accuser in order to help his defense in court.
He denies his claim that a white SUV parked outside his house was sent by him.
In her original complaint, Jane Doe’s lawyers detailed how Black allegedly attacked her on the massage table, sodomized her with sex toys and even drew blood from her genitals while performing oral sex on her.
They claimed she was 16, vulnerable and black trafficked by Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and a mysterious woman named in the lawsuit as “Elizabeth”.
The original complaint described the woman as having mosaic Down syndrome, which involves internal chromosomal differences, but does not manifest physically as other cases of Down syndrome do.
In her filing today, Black’s attorneys say the woman has never been diagnosed with such a condition.
Black’s lawyers also say her family believe she is lying about being abused by Epstein.
“Recently she posted on social media that she was abused by Jeffrey Epstein.
“She had never made such allegations before. Her family told her they did not believe this to be true and they deleted the posts,” they say.
Black’s private investigator, Carlos Melendez, spent hours talking with family and friends last week.
He says she was never diagnosed with any of the conditions she claims to have.
“Although she claims to be autistic and has Mosaic Down Syndrome, she was not diagnosed as a child or while living at home throughout high school and exhibited no symptoms or behaviors of either of these conditions.
“Instead, (she) became aware of these behaviors and studied them and started intentionally displaying them in her twenties in order to present herself as an autistic person.

“For example, she once noted that people with autism don’t look others in the eye, and then began to avoid making eye contact, a behavior she had never displayed before.
“Similarly, the first time her family heard of (her) claiming to have Mosaic Down Syndrome was when she was in her 30s, after a parent posted on social media about their child Down syndrome, and received positive support and attention.
“According to her family, (she) has a habit of seeking attention by any means at her disposal.
“(She) has used a series of different names and characters, has a history of creating alternate realities; a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder; and invents things that ‘become her reality’,’ reads the papers filed by Black today.
Jane Doe’s lawyers had complained that the private investigator had visited her family and friends in an earlier court submission.
They used it as an example of why she wanted to remain anonymous.
Black, in his response today, says he never fought his desire to remain anonymous.
He also denies his lawyers’ claim that his private detective was there to intimidate his family and said he brought cheesecake – something his lawyers described as a way into the house of his parents – as a sign of “politeness”.

“The lead investigator assigned to this case is Carlos Melendez, an 83-year-old decorated military veteran who is a licensed investigator.
“In each instance where someone agreed to speak to him, Mr. Melendez recorded the conversation, including confirming on the recording that the person knew they were being recorded, consented to it, and spoke to him voluntarily and without coercion or incentive. ‘
In response to Black’s most recent filing, Jeanne Christensen, Jane Doe’s attorney said, “Leon Black’s frivolous allegations intended to scare and warn other women, and attorneys who may represent them, from doing asserting their claims against him are precisely why NYS passed anti-SLAPP legislation.
“It’s nothing more than a weak attempt to distract from the fact that he paid USVI $62.5 million and Jeffrey Epstein $158 million.
“Unfortunately, there are always lawyers willing to file such nonsense when someone like Leon Black is paying hourly rates.
“We look forward to holding Black accountable for the cases currently pending against him.”

Leon Black denied the woman’s allegations, saying he had never met her
She previously told DailyMail.com that her claims against her law firm were a “conspiracy theory”.
“Black’s conspiracy theories and finger pointing are a clear attempt to distract from his heinous acts. I don’t think anyone will be fooled by such nonsense.
Black’s ties to Epstein have become more apparent and condemnable in recent months.
Between 2012 and 2017, he paid Epstein $158 million for tax and estate planning advice despite owning his own financial firm.
He also gave her a $10 million charity gift the same month one of his ex-girlfriends received payments from a mysterious “E trust”.
The money was in exchange for her keeping quiet about her romance with Black, a married billionaire with four children.
Black also paid US Virgin Islands prosecutors $62 million to avoid being dragged into litigation against Epstein’s estate.
