Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe couldn’t get through, so it fell to Georginio Wijnaldum to save PSG against Lens on Saturday night.
Seko Fofana opened the scoring after 62 minutes with a thumping attack past Keylor Navas, and PSG struggled all night to control the hosts – leaking more shots than they could make.
Finally, Mbappé delivered a quality moment two minutes into stoppage time, bringing in an inch-perfect ball that Wijnaldum sent into the net.
Draws to Nice and Lens, plus a defeat to Man City in Europe, mean PSG have only had one win in four games: the 3-1 win over St Etienne.
