Rapper Scarface has revealed his hospitalisation with a worrying image taken from his bed.
The Geto Boys artist, whose real name is Brad Terrence Jordan, was photographed connected to tubes while a nurse attended to him in a snapshot he shared on his Instagram on Saturday.
The healthcare worker was wearing a name tag that read ‘CVICU’, suggesting Scarface had been admitted to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
His name tag also revealed that he was being treated at a Houston Methodist hospital.
Scarface, 53, whose health has previously made headlines, did not reveal what brought him to the hospital, although the accompanying caption indicated he had been in pain.

“Oh,” he wrote alongside three praying hands emojis. “I’m grateful,” he added.
The comments section was filled with well wishes from fans and famous musicians.
Rapper E-40 commented: ‘Praying for a speedy recovery family. Love you all.’
“We love you man,” Travis Scott commented.
“Prayers for a full recovery,” posted Cedric The Entertainer.
Chance The Rapper and Jadakiss left praying hands emojis, while Busta Rhymes responded with a series of crown and raised hands emojis.
The musician’s health problems have already been in the news before.
In March 2020, she revealed that she tested positive for coronavirus as the pandemic began to accelerate around the world.

He suffered irreparable damage to his kidneys after the illness and took to Twitter to ask for “volunteers” willing to donate one of their healthy kidneys to him.
He eventually received a kidney transplant from his son, Christopher Jordan.
Scarface has released 12 solo albums and is known for songs such as Smile, My Block and I Seen a Man Die.
He initially gained fame in the late 1980s with the group Geto Boys through the song Mind Playing Tricks on Me.
