Comedian George Lopez reportedly pulled out and ended his rescheduled concert in California early due to booing from audience members.

The 63-year-old was performing at the Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville, but ended the show about 30 minutes before the scheduled time due to interruptions.

The 2,000-seat venue revealed in a Facebook post that Lopez had hired his own private security for Friday’s show and reportedly could have escorted any hecklers.

‘Tonight, George Lopez disappointed his fans and sold out the show by leaving and ending his show 30 minutes early. “George hired his own private security who could have easily escorted anyone who interrupted,” he wrote.

They also claimed that organizers had a pre-show meeting to come up with a plan against hecklers and were disappointed in Lopez’s team for not allowing them to deal with the situation.

‘We had a pre-show meeting to have a plan in place for hecklers. You could have given us the opportunity to allow our security and team to escort out the hecklers, as your own private security did not do so. George decided not to continue with the show and leave.

But Lopez’s team denied the venue’s claims, saying “the casino staff failed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the performer and the guest.”

‘The job of the venue or casino is to provide a good experience for both the artist and the fans, but the casino failed in this regard.

‘The audience was overserved and unruly, and casino staff were unable to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the performer and guests.

‘George’s personal security team worked with the venue’s security staff to maintain order, ensure safety and remove disruptive people. Unfortunately, the casino’s security team was not adequate to perform this task.

‘George is not required to act in an unsafe environment. He feels bad that those who came to see the show couldn’t make it.’

While the hecklers have not yet been identified, other audience members have expressed their disappointment and anger on social media.

“We were having a great time, we had a wonderful dinner, we played games, we laughed, and suddenly it was all over so quickly.” “Everyone was in shock,” wrote one viewer in the place’s post.

While another said: ‘This is the second time I rearranged my diary to watch it and was completely disappointed.’ I grew up watching him and was looking forward to the opportunity to see him live. Definitely the last time I paid to see it.

An enraged audience member revealed: ‘I am in shock! He was very disrespectful using the language he used as he prepared to leave. What gave you that freedom to insult everyone in that room?

‘Your security should have dealt with the heckler…should have shown professionalism. He needs to repay his audience.

‘My husband and I drove 2 hours after work. My husband is a big fan. We paid over $500.00 on hotels alone because he rescheduled. He was shocking and I was worried about safety as he walked off stage and people were upset,” said one disheartened viewer.

One member also noted that the booing was “very minor” and wrote, “I was there.” My husband and I traveled an hour to get there after having to turn around last month when it was cancelled. From where I was sitting, the boos were very minor. He could just as easily have talked over them or escorted them out.

‘Most of us were shocked and thought it was a joke and that he would come out again. Sure he can dish out the insults, but he can’t take them himself (if they can even be called insults). Crazy things.’

The sold-out show, which was originally scheduled to take place on April 20, was rescheduled for May 7 due to a medical emergency.
