Leeds United is reportedly planning an ambitious step for Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico.
Marcelo Bielsa has made a new left back a priority this summer, identifying Tagliafico as his ideal acquisition.
According to The mirror, the Yorkshire club is taking ambitious steps for the Argentinian in an effort to solve their problems as a left back. Ezgjan Alioski and Stuart Dallas have teamed up this season to play the role after Bielsa was unable to bolster that position last summer.

However, Alioski could be on his way to leave Elland Road as his contract expires at the end of the season.
Tagliafico has built a reputation as one of the strongest defenders of Dutch football, the 28-year-old has amassed 41 yellow cards and two red cards for club and country in just over three years.
“I am the kind of player who can show his skills, like I do at Ajax, where everyone can play football,” Tagliafico told The Mirror when asked about his qualities as a player.
But I’m also the kind of guy who learned other strategies growing up in Argentina that I have to use when it’s not possible to win with skills and good football.

‘What people think about me as a player doesn’t bother me.
“What I find funny is what I hear the most is everyone always says they would like to have a type of player like me on their team.”
The Argentinian international came from Independiente to Ajax in 2018 and will play in the KNVB cup final against Vitesse Arnhem on Sunday.
Tagliafico, who has previously been linked with both Manchester City and Leicester, signed a contract extension last summer that will keep him at the Johan Cruyff Arena until 2023.
However, it is believed that there is an informal agreement that he can leave if an appropriate offer comes.
