Leeds United are following developments with Red Bull Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams after his club said he could leave.

Adams, 23, was a fairly regular fixture in the Bundesliga in the 2021/22 season as they finished fourth in the German top league to qualify for the Champions League.
He is also a player who also knows Leeds manager Jesse Marsch well, he is a United States international and played a brief stint under a new boss in Leipzig.
Marsch has already used his in-game lefts to bring in Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca.

US international Aaronson, 21, and Kristensen, 24, have both signed contracts at Elland Road after working with the US manager at Austrian champion Red Bull Salzburg.
With an offer also made for 20-year-old PSG striker Arnaud Kalimuendo, Marsch’s goals so far suggest he is taking a youthful approach as he leaves his mark on a squad he inherited at the end of February.
He could now use his tires again to try and lure Adams to the club to bolster midfield, especially given Phillips’ possible departure to join champions City.
It is rumored that City are keen to secure a deal of around £45m – £50m for Phillips, with the combative midfielder’s current contract with the West Yorkshire club set to expire in 2024.

Sportsmail understands that both City and rivals Manchester United are interested in signing Phillips, but the Manchester blue half appear to have taken a lead in the race for his signature.
Phillips made it through Leeds Academy after joining the club at the age of 14 and has cemented his place as a club legend among supporters as he helped lead the club back to the Premier League.
In a mixed 2021-22 season, Phillips was frustrated with playing time as he struggled to stay fit with a hamstring injury in late 2021, leaving him sidelined with a hamstring injury.
However, he returned to play a pivotal role in the build-up to his club’s end of the season as Leeds avoided relegation on the final day of the season.
