LeBron James’ media company eyeing shock merger with producers behind The Kardashians

LeBron James' SpringHill company reportedly in talks to merge with Fulwell 73

LeBron James’ production company, SpringHill, would be in talks to merge with the producers behind ‘The Kardashians’.

SpringHill was founded in 2007 with James’ long-time friend and business partner Maverick Carter, and the company co-produced the ‘Space Jam’ remake and the new Netflix series ‘Starting 5.’

Now, according to BloombergSpringHill could join forces with British film, television and music company Fulwell 73.

According to the report, talks have been going on “for months” and company executives see the potential move as a way to strengthen live and unscripted content.

In addition to producing The Kardashians, Fulwell 73 also produces the Grammys and participated in Adele’s ‘One Night Only’ live concert.

In the world of sport, the company has also produced Netflix cult favorite ‘Sunderland ‘Til I Die’.

Fulwell 73 is also partially owned by Eldridge Industries, an investment firm chaired by Chelsea and LA Dodgers co-owner Todd Boehly.

SpringHill is also co-producing a film starring Mark Wahlberg, as Reported deadline in August.

The film, called ‘Weekend Warriors’, will feature a father and an autistic son who travel to all the NBA stadiums while the boy decides which team to support.

The film will also be produced by Plan B and Apple Studios.
