On the same day that LeBron and Bronny James made history in Los Angeles, the Lakers teammates were allegedly sued for a 2022 traffic collision in California.

TMZ He reportedly obtained the lawsuit filed on behalf of April Almanza López and Kiara Rae McGillen, who claim their vehicle was hit by another car driven by LeBron and Bronny in Los Angeles County. The couple claim they still need medical treatment after the accident and that their car was damaged, causing its value to decline.

The two are suing for unspecified damages, according to TMZ.

Lawyers representing James declined to comment to DailyMail.com, stating they have not yet received the filing.

There is currently no such filing on the Los Angeles County Civil Court website.

On the same day that LeBron and Bronny James made history in Los Angeles, the Lakers teammates were allegedly sued for a traffic collision in 2022.

LeBron and Bronny made headlines mostly on the basketball court Tuesday, where the Lakers beat the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves in young James’ NBA debut.

Bronny played less than three minutes and failed to score while recording an offensive rebound.

However, he received a standing ovation as he entered the game alongside his father in the second quarter.

Just before their boisterous welcome, the couple shared a candid moment on the bench as young Bronny waited to make his NBA debut.

‘Are you all ready?’ LeBron, 39, is heard asking his 20-year-old son before entering the game in the second quarter.

‘You see the intensity, right?’ LeBron continued, heard over TNT’s microphones. ‘But play without worries. Don’t worry about errors. Just go out there and play hard.’

The elder James had started the game and was already in his 22nd NBA season when younger Bronny was ready to hit the court. But as he sat next to his son on the bench, LeBron had clearly gone into “dad” mode.

Bronny wasn’t on the microphone, but seemed to answer “yes” to everything his father threw at him.

Although the Lakers were running roughshod over the Timberwolves when James’ gang checked in, Bronny had some trouble, missing a 3-point attempt and a deflected shot by former Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert.

The 6-foot-2 Bronny soon exited the game with the Lakers having been outscored by five points during his three minutes on the court.

Later, TNT Sports interviewed both Bronny and LeBron.

“I’m very grateful for everything,” Bronny said of his debut. “They gave me an incredible opportunity to come to this league and get better every day and learn every day.”

But no one was happier than LeBron, who finally got to work with his son after spending so many years away from him on the road.

“It’s family,” LeBron told TNT. ‘It has always been family above all else. For me, I lost a lot of time because of this league, committing to this league, being on tour sometimes, missing a lot of their stuff, Bryce’s stuff, Zhuri’s stuff.

“So to be able to have this moment, where I’m still working and I can work alongside my son, is one of the best gifts I’ve ever received from the man above and I’m going to make the most of it.” .’

When asked what he wanted Bronny to remember, LeBron emphasized the privilege of playing in the NBA.

“This is not promised every day when you have the opportunity to play in this beautiful league,” he said alongside his son. ‘There are only 450 of us. Understand that it has not been given to you. You have to earn every moment. He knows this and looks forward to the process of improving every day to become the player he ultimately wants to be.

‘I’m very proud of him. He’s my lifesaver, that’s for sure.’
