President Joe Biden’s son, 54, revealed that he often thinks about the “profound consequences of failure” if he relapses before the November election.

‘I have something much bigger than myself at stake. “We are in the middle of a fight for the future of democracy,” Hunter said in the rare interview with Axios.

If Hunter were to slip up and start using drugs again, it would have a major impact on President Biden’s re-election efforts this year. Her drug use and his addiction have been a frequent line of attack by conservatives and the MAGA world, pushing the theory that the cocaine found in the White House last year belonged to the first son.

Biden has also privately expressed concern that the daily attacks could take a toll on his family and even cause his son to relapse.
