We have already seen some leaked photos and are shown with the Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but today we have had one of our clearest looks to date with the Pro model.
Three leaked images shared on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site) show the Huawei Mate 20 Pro apparently from the front and mark the curved screen and the notch at the top of the screen, which is claimed to house a 3D face scanner.
But one of the photos shows handy a settings screen and although most of the text is in Chinese, there are a few English pieces that emphasize the non-surprising presence of NFC and a listing of 98.86GB of storage space – which in reality probably means that there is 128 GB, because that is the closest standard storage capacity. The displayed image is probably how much is not used.
No sign of a scanner
You will also notice that there is only a thin edge under the screen and there is no sign of a home button or fingerprint scanner. It is possible that the scanner is on the back, but previous rumors have suggested that it is built into the screen.
As always, we can not be sure that this is actually the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but the images correspond to what we have seen before.
There is nothing else to take from the photo's but based on previous leaks we have a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming Huawei flagship, including a QHD + screen and a Kirin 980 chipset.
We will soon know what it offers, because the Mate 20 Pro will be announced on October 16, in addition to the standard Huawei Mate 20.
