The former Real Housewives of New York star, 41, shared the news Thursday by posting her test results on social media.
“I’m shocked,” she wrote. ‘Please send Lyme cure success stories. It is a new infection, not chronic.
She added: “Apologies to all my friends who I’ve canceled on in the last few months.” [because] “I felt like shit.”

McSweeney is currently in a legal battle with his former network Bravo, whom he is suing for alleged discrimination and hostile work environment.
She previously suffered health problems while filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Thailand, where she collapsed from dehydration and had to be hospitalized.
The outspoken New Yorker isn’t the first Real Housewives star to be diagnosed with Lyme disease.

Lyme disease is caused by the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi that is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected blacklegged ticks.
The most common early symptoms of the disease are fever, headache, fatigue, and a skin rash called erythema migrani, which appears as a target-like appearance around the bite area.
The disease can usually be treated with several weeks of oral antibiotics.
