Michelle welcomed her son, Ever Leo, in August 2020.
After giving an update on her son’s health, Leah opened up about her private situation to her fans. I am happy to be back here. I think I have a cold from not sleeping for the past week. But I’m really glad to be back with my Funny Girl family.

And I just wanted to say thank you everyone for so much love and support this week. Really appreciated that.

Lea has been portraying the lead role of Fanny Brice since opening night in September 2022, after replacing Benny Feldstein.
Leah’s stint at Funny Girl is scheduled to end September 3, 2023 and she’s looking forward to spending more time with her little one.
When asked about her plans when the show ends, she told ET on Tuesday, “Oh my gosh, I’m going to be spending as much time with my son as I can, and resting.”
“And let my body recover from doing this show, and be the mother of a three-year-old.”
She said he was three because by the time the show was over, her son would be that age.
The Scream Queens star has received rave reviews for her role as Fanny Brice, box office records breaking productions, and Lea is still tackling ‘amazing’ accomplishments but ultimately her family life comes first.

One last farewell: In March, it was announced that Michelle’s final performance would be set for later this year on Sept. 3, according to Variety. Seen in the year 2022
“I really try to take a moment to process these amazing accomplishments along the way, because they really are incredible,” she said.
But at the end of the day, it’s like when I wake up, I’m a mom, I take care of my son, I go to work at night, and we have so much fun.
And I think at the end of the day, all of those accomplishments are pretty cool. But the fact that we’re having so much fun at the same time, as actors on that stage — that’s really what matters most.
Although Lea has appeared on stage before, Funny Girl will be the first time she’s closed the Broadway production and she teased that there were some special moments for fans.
She said, “Our show ends on September 3, when I leave. I’ve never closed a show before. I usually left, and it would be fun, but we’d go out with a bang. I’ll tell you we had some surprises on my last night that I haven’t told anyone about yet.
