Lea Michele caressed her burgeoning baby bump as she showed off some of her “favorite” maternity looks from her third trimester.

The Glee star, 37, and her husband Zandy Reich announced in March that they are expecting their second child, a girl.

They are already the proud parents of a three-year-old son named Ever, whom they welcomed in August 2020, about a year and a half after their wedding.

Now Lea has offered her more than eight million Instagram followers some glimpses of the outfits she’s been wearing while preparing for her daughter’s arrival.

In one especially touching snap, she could be seen resting a hand lovingly on her belly, which was swaddled in a white Bumpsuit jumpsuit.

‘I love this, especially in this crazy New York heat!’ wrote the Bronx-born actress. ‘Whether exercising at home or going out!’

Another outfit she modeled on Instagram was a long black sleeveless Naadam dress, complete with a slit on the side.

“I could wear this dress all day, even in bed at night, it’s so comfortable,” she wrote of a mirror selfie she took in the garment: “It’s not maternity but it’s super stretchy and soft.” It was perfect for running the other day.’

She also wore a cream knit dress from Zara and explained: “I have this to wear to dinner, it’s @Zara and I just measured one and it was so comfortable.”

Lea was photographed looking more casual while wearing a white Xirena top that fell low enough to almost completely hide her matching shorts.

She gushed about the look that Xirena “is a brand I’ve loved forever and I just got fitted for these super comfy shorts and shirt.”

Her last appearance was in a floor-length Bumpsuit robe, which she modeled while striking a spokesperson pose with a glass of green juice.

Lea’s posts come just two weeks after she enthusiastically revealed that her son Ever is “very excited” to become a big brother.

“It’s so sweet talking to him about this,” she wrote in an Instagram Q&A alongside a photo of her and Ever together. ‘I can’t wait for you to meet each other!’

In response to a fan who asked her how she was feeling, she posted a photo in a bikini that revealed her baby bump and exclaimed: ‘I feel great! Thanks for asking!’

She added: “Every pregnancy has its own ups and downs and we manage them the best we can. But I’m grateful for the energy I have from caring for a toddler at the same time and feeling very grateful.”

A couple of years ago, shortly after Ever turned two, she revealed that she experienced heavy bleeding during her first pregnancy and had to go on bed rest.

“I still wasn’t sure if the pregnancy was going to last,” she said in The Drew Barrymore Show. ‘It was horrible. “It was the lowest I have ever been in my entire life.”

However, she noted that she and Zandy became closer over the ordeal, saying: “Having our son and experiencing the challenges we had throughout the pregnancy was something that unfortunately created a stronger bond in us.”
