After having a baby during the pandemic, Lea Michele is enjoying the full pregnancy experience for the second time.
The 37-year-old Golden Globe nominee explained how her current pregnancy has been an “incredibly different experience” than when she welcomed her 3-year-old son Ever Leo.
“We were in California and we were in a pandemic,” he said. People.
“I was spending a lot of time at home and doing very few activities,” Michele added. “And now, I’m in New York, on the busy streets. I’m working, I’m a mother, and it’s very different.”
She also noted that “none of my friends saw me pregnant, ever” as she and husband Zandy Reich prepared to welcome their first baby.

She married fashion executive Zandy Reich in 2019 and they welcomed Ever on August 20, 2020.
“You know, my best friend, Jonathan (Groff), he never saw me pregnant,” she continued.
“He wasn’t with me and my dad was in New York, he was on the East Coast (during) the pandemic.”
Michele added: “Being able to have this experience and share this time with my friends and family has been really wonderful, something I haven’t been able to do before.”
The Glee alum opened up about her pregnancy experience while filling bags with Tylenol and other essentials for other parents-to-be.
“Had so much fun with my partner @Tylenol putting together baskets to help parents prepare for when their little ones get sick,” Michele wrote on her Instagram Story.
For the event, she wrapped her baby bump in a tight, sleeveless red Michael Kors dress. “Michael always gets it right,” she wrote in the photos of the look.
Michele announced her second pregnancy in March, when she shared maternity photos on Instagram.
“Mom, Dad and Ever are so happy,” Michele wrote in the caption.
The Spring Awakening star revealed the sex of her second child in May, sharing a photo of her baby bump for Mother’s Day.
