Faced with a Los Angeles civil lawsuit, Harvey Weinstein accuses him of forcing an actress to have a sexual encounter with him by seducing her into a movie role and threatening to blacklist her from Hollywood if she were to make his advances reject.
The newly filed civil complaint alleges the disgraced movie tycoon of sexual assault and battery as a result of an incident that took place at the high-end Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills in 2014.
Weinstein, who was sentenced to 23 years in prison for rape and sexual assault last week, was transferred this morning from the infamous Rikers Island prison to the highly secured Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill, New York.
The plaintiff in the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, known only under the generic pseudonym Jane Doe, claims that she first met Weinstein at an event in Los Angeles in 2014, after which Miramax co-founder would brag to her, ‘I run Hollywood’, before inviting her to a sequel meeting.

The lawsuit alleges that Weinstein offered the woman a role at a meeting at The Peninsula hotel in 2014, then threatened to derail her career if she refused to have sex with him
The complaint is about the actress and Weinstein meeting in the lobby of the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, but the producer of Shakespeare in Love did not come down, but invited her into his suite.
According to the lawsuit, Weinstein met the woman at the door in a beltless bathrobe.
During their conversation, Weinstein called herself the “ King of Hollywood, ” telling the actress that she would be perfect for various film projects, and urged her to be smart about being kind to the right people in the industry.
Later Weinstein apologized for going to the toilet. The lawsuit states that the woman left the hotel room when she heard the shower run.
Weinstein, who turns 68 tomorrow, will be transferred from Rikers Island prison to state prison in Fishkill, New York on Wednesday.
Some time after that first meeting, Jane Doe says in the complaint that Weinstein sent her a script for a movie and demanded a second meeting at the same hotel.
When she went to Weinstein’s room for what she thought would be a business meeting, the producer said he met him again in a bathrobe.
This time, their conversation took a menacing tone when the powerful movie tycoon reportedly threatened to derail the actress’s young career if she turned him down.
Jane Doe says she felt cornered and subject to Weinstein’s demands. The lawsuit alleges that the married father of five had the woman call him “king” during their sexual encounter.
The woman, who claims unspecified damages, says in the complaint that in the aftermath of her meeting with the married film producer, she went into depression, suffered a mental breakdown and started to lose her hair.
