LAUTARO MARTINEZ STATS 2019-20
Barcelona is thought to see Martinez as a long-term successor to Luis Suarez, who is 33 and 11 years older than the Inter-star.
Suarez is out for the rest of the season, along with Frenchman Ousmane Dembele and Quique Setien is desperately looking for new bodies for next season to ease the burden of goals on Lionel Messi, Martinez’s Argentinian counterpart.
For Real Madrid, they have been struggling to score goals since Cristiano Ronaldo left and the summer signing of Luka Jovic failed to hit the ground while walking at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Manchester United and Manchester City have previously been credited with interest in the player, but there is a growing belief that Spain is his most likely destination should he choose to leave Inter.
His current San Siro deal ends in June 2023 after he signed a five-year deal in 2018 when he joined Racing Club.
Martinez is seen as a player who has yet to reach his peak and has a big advantage at the age of 22
