Chloe Goodman has admitted she’s still “not ready to forgive” her sister Lauryn amid their current split.

The dispute arose following Lauryn’s decision to go public with her romance with Manchester City footballer Kyle Walker.

Lauryn welcomed four-year-old son Kairo with Kyle while on a break from wife Annie Kilner in 2019, but in January this year it was revealed she had also welcomed a daughter, Kinara, who was born last summer.

Chloe then banned her older sister Lauryn from attending her wedding to partner Grant Hall in June, fearing the pair would never speak to each other again.

The model has now opened up about their relationship in a new interview and weighed in on Lauryn’s Supreme Court battle with Kyle after her list of financial demands was made public.

Talking with The sunChloe explained: ‘I don’t think it’s a question of forgiveness, but rather of time. I’m not ready to sit down and talk things over with her yet.

‘I feel like I would get emotional and angry and I might say things I would regret later.’

She admitted that while she does visit Lauryn, who lives down the street, she only does so when her mother encourages her to do so and insists she has not yet “properly spoken” to her older sister.

She explained how she goes about ensuring her children, Isla, four, and Hudson, two, have a relationship with their cousins.

Last week, the Mail revealed that Chloe had become increasingly concerned that Lauryn was struggling to cope with the pressure of the High Court battle with her footballer ex.

After the judge lifted the reporting restrictions, he realised that his sister’s list of demands would come to light (including a £31,000 artificial sports pitch for her daughter and maintenance payments worth the equivalent of a £350,000 salary) and that Lauryn would now be exposed to a certain degree of ridicule.

Regarding her financial demands, Chloe said: “To me, the demands showed that she was angry and hurt and was going straight for the jugular.People look at this from the perspective of a normal household income and say, “That’s an embarrassing amount of money.”

The model said she fears people have “lost sight” of the six children who are in the middle of all this, but “it doesn’t excuse her sister’s behavior.”

MailOnline has contacted Lauryn’s representative for comment.

A friend previously told the Mail: ‘Chloe started to feel really worried about Lauryn.

“She feared that all of this was hurting her so much that she couldn’t be by her side while it was all happening. She knows all too well that Lauryn can be her own worst enemy, and it was clear that her sister needed support to cope with what was happening.

“Lauryn doesn’t have much of a support network, so Chloe decided it was time to start looking for a way to bury the hatchet… Chloe knows Lauryn can be a nightmare, but she’s her nightmare. She’s her sister.”

About three weeks ago, Chloe offered an olive branch to Lauryn, who is well known among mutual friends for being stubborn.

Chloe proved she was a loyal sister, defending Lauryn on Instagram when The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman attacked her and supporting Kyle’s wife Annie Kilner.

Luisa wrote: ‘I know Kyle did the wrong thing, but his wife didn’t deserve any of this circus. She kept her dignity. Those kids were RAISED for money. It’s a disgrace!’

Chloe responded by saying: ‘Please don’t talk about my niece and nephew in an attempt to stay relevant.

‘Kyle, Annie and Lauryn are all to blame, none of them are victims… The kids are the only ones who are innocent. To be clear, I will not be drawn into a blame game with Kyle, Annie and Lauryn. I just want the kids to be left out of this.’

A source told The Mail that Lauryn appreciated Chloe’s staunch defence. The sisters’ lives were closely intertwined in the past.

They live on the same street and Chloe’s children, Isla and Hudson, are very close to Kairo and Kinara, thanks to Lauryn and Chloe’s mother, Karen, who made sure the cousins’ relationship continued despite their mothers’ rift.

It was through Chloe, a former glamour model and Celebrity Big Brother star, that Lauryn met Kyle.

And Chloe was one of the first people Lauryn told when she became pregnant with Kyle’s children, Kairo and then Kinara.

When Chloe’s footballer husband Grant Hall proposed, she immediately asked Lauryn to be a bridesmaid at their Algarve wedding.

But as the big day approached, Lauryn made Kinara’s father’s name public in a message to her wife Annie Kilner, despite Chloe’s pleas to keep it a secret until after the wedding. The story quickly spiraled out of control. Chloe knew she had to make the toughest decision of her life.

Last month, she told the Mail: “I was planning the final stages[of my wedding]when the whole Lauryn mess was coming to light. So in the end I had to choose. I had to make a big decision. I just didn’t want the drama, which meant Lauryn couldn’t be there.”

Lauryn stayed five miles away from the road with her children as the rest of her family gathered for the wedding. Lauryn admitted she felt “very sad” about the ban.

In an exclusive interview with the Mail last month, Lauryn hit back at her critics and explained why her ex-lover Kyle is “not man enough to do the right thing”.

She revealed her main motivation for taking Kairo to his first England game (a promise Kyle had made to his son in 2022) when she was secretly pregnant with her second child and he was playing in the World Cup in Qatar.

“Kyle told him on a FaceTime call that he would make sure he was in the next tournament because (Kyle) is getting older and he knew there might not be any more opportunities,” he explained.

“There was no way I was going to go back on the promise Kyle made to his son. This could have been his last chance, so I wanted it to be something Kairo could remember forever.”

Lauryn continued: “We’re not here to please other people. This is about Kairo and what’s best for him and what will make him happy.”

“I will not be scapegoated or bullied or made to feel like a villain. My children are my number one priority and always will be. Luckily, I am a strong woman and a mother to them.”

Although Kairo had “the best day of his life” at the game, according to Lauryn, who also brought her grandfather John, there was an undercurrent of sadness.

“I was really touched because it’s like Kairo still doesn’t understand what his father did,” he explained.

I know this hurts Kyle, but he is not man enough to do right by his other two children. This is a trait I don’t want Kairo to have. I want him to be strong, not a weak man when he grows up.

“They are human beings and they are not going anywhere, they have as many rights as anyone else. And I will always fight for them, as any mother would. It was very nice to see him idolize his father, but also very sad.”
