Lauryn Goodman has defended Dave Grohl after he admitted to fathering a child “outside of marriage”.
It’s no surprise the 33-year-old TV personality has given the matter some thought, having had two children with married footballer Kyle Walker.
On Wednesday, Lauryn revealed on Instagram that several of her followers had forwarded Dave’s post to her, which read: “I recently became a father to a new daughter, born out of wedlock. I plan to be a loving and supportive father to her.
‘I love my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
“We are grateful for your consideration for all the children involved as we move forward together.”

On Instagram on Wednesday, Lauryn revealed that several of her followers had forwarded Dave’s post to her and praised his “lovely statement.”
Dave said in his statement: “I love my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness” (pictured with Jordyn in 2014).
Praising her choice of words, she wrote: “She is putting all of her children first, with or without an ultimatum. What a beautiful statement.”
Dave has been married to director Jordyn Blum since 2003 and they have daughters together: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
Jordyn has not made any public comments about her husband’s infidelity. Since the announcement, her two oldest daughters have closed their social media accounts.
In January, Lauryn’s ex Kyle was embroiled in a paternity scandal when it was dramatically revealed that he was the father of Lauryn’s second child, 13-month-old Kinara, four years after they welcomed son Kairo.
At the time he was expecting his fourth child with his wife Annie Kilner.
Breaking his silence on the scandal in an Instagram post, the Manchester City star shared:Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologize for the upset I have caused her.
‘She has been a part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children.
‘I would like to ask for privacy for our entire family, and especially our young children, as we navigate these difficult times.’

‘It doesn’t matter how they feel when you talk about it, because if they wanted people to think better of them, they should have acted better. My page is for you.’
Lauryn wrote at the top of the post: “For anyone who needs it. Goodnight everyone.”
She shared the post days after leaking messages that were purportedly between her and Kyle discussing the paternity of their daughter.
This week she shared screenshots of WhatsApp messages she claims are from Kyle, appearing to show that he wanted to keep his daughter’s paternity a secret.
Alongside the messages, Lauryn wrote: ‘The comments about DNA I’m seeing. He (Kyle) always knew the babies he had with me were his. DNA testing is legal tactics.
“We had already fixed up the house before she was born. He wouldn’t have done it if he didn’t know for sure it wasn’t his.”
One message, believed to be from Kyle, reads: “Ok I think so but you haven’t told him it’s mine.”
Lauryn responds: “She knows it’s yours 100%, she said I know it’s his, I know you don’t (blank).”

Another of the screenshots Lauryn claims are of Kyle reads: ‘Sorry, I don’t want to cause you any stress, I just want to keep you informed.
‘About everything and what has been said about you, etc.
‘If you have it and you deny it then it’s okay, we’re fine and we’re planning for the future.
“What is going to happen right now is not good to come out because it is just a show with my actions and that need to disappear.”
Kyle shares children Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and five-month-old baby Rezon with wife Annie.
A source close to Kyle said: ‘His legal team recommended Kyle take a DNA test to confirm the child’s paternity. He has always maintained financial responsibility for the children.
‘He keeps his four children out of the media spotlight and is saddened that the other children affected by this situation are continually being dragged into public controversy.
‘Kyle did not want everything to be public, this was due to the enormous press interest and subsequent media campaigns, often led by Lauryn Goodman.’
The romance began when Lauryn met Kyle in 2019, when he was in the midst of a breakup with Annie.
Despite his infidelity and the birth of their son Kairo, Kyle and Annie remained together in Cheshire while Lauryn raised their son hundreds of miles away in Brighton.
This comes after Lauryn leaked messages that are supposedly between her and Kyle discussing the paternity of their daughter.

Then, last December, it was revealed that the daughter Lauryn had given birth to last summer was also Kyle’s.
Annie kicked Kyle out of the family home in Prestbury, Cheshire, and he moved into a flat nearby.
However, after Annie gave birth to their fourth child in April, they began to patch up their marriage, reportedly on the condition that Kyle cut off all contact with Lauryn and their children.
Meanwhile, Lauryn is raising her children as a single mother in a £2.4million home in Hove, East Sussex, which Kyle bought for them as part of his support obligations.
