Lauryn Goodman cried while talking about her son Kairo’s heartbreaking school project.
The 33-year-old mother-of-two, who shares son Kairo, four, and daughter Kinara, 13 months, with Kyle Walker, 34, has found herself embroiled in a paternity scandal and court showdown with the footballer, 34, earlier this year.
The Manchester City player, who also shares four children with his wife Annie Kilner, has “abandoned” the children he shares with Lauryn, and the TV personality speaks candidly about how this affects his son.
In a new episode of his insightful podcast, Yours sincerelyLauryn fought back tears as she talked about Kairo’s family project at school.
Speaking to her friend and co-host Lisa Andrews, she explained: “I don’t want Kairo to sit there in class while everyone is checking out books with his family and his dad and for him to feel some way when those kids are obviously talking about his family. ‘

She went on to explain how after a conversation with her teacher she decided not to include Kyle in Kairo’s family book, but she did include a day at the zoo, which Kairo enjoyed with Kyle’s parents.
“I just don’t want to give him any abandonment problems,” he admitted.
‘I don’t encourage conversation, but I also don’t want you to feel a certain way.
“It’s a fine line of distraction, but not too much, because I don’t want him to feel like I’m not listening to what he’s saying.”
“His book includes everything: the euros, his grandparents, the whole world really.”
When she gave birth to Kairo in 2020, Lauryn revealed that Kyle was the father, before welcoming another child last year.
While Lauryn was initially coy about fathering her daughter, he later confirmed that he had also fathered Kinara, leading to his split from his wife Annie.
Annie, who was pregnant with her fourth child at the time, kicked Kyle out of her marital home and he moved into a nearby apartment.

She explained, “I don’t want Kairo to sit there in class while everyone is checking out books with his family and his father and for him to feel some kind of way.”
Earlier this year, Lauryn and Kyle were involved in a highly publicized legal battle over their children’s custody agreement.
The case involved a number of issues, including child support, harassment and transparency in family court.
The judge ordered Kyle to pay £12,500 a month in child support, as well as nursery, school and childcare costs.
Lauryn has been incredibly open about her relationship with the Man City star in recent weeks following her appearance on Celebs Go Dating.
Last week, the mother of two also shared the full text message she sent to Annie last December when she revealed that Kyle was the father of her daughter.
Kyle now lives in the marital home with his wife Annie and their four children and they are working on their relationship. By agreement with Annie, he only has contact with Lauryn through lawyers.
Lauryn was awarded the equivalent of a £150,000-a-year salary after a court hearing in which the judge accused her of treating the Manchester City defender like an “open chequebook”.
The mother of two also shared the full text message she sent to Annie last December when she revealed that Kyle was the father of her daughter.
Lauryn shared the extremely strong message sent on December 27 of last year with her 246,000 followers on Instagram.
It said, ‘Hi, I’m Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter. He’s been having a relationship with all of us, including the baby, and I have everything to prove it. It has been part of our lives seeing the children (sic)’.
Meanwhile, Lauryn took a cryptic jab at Kyle on Sunday when she admitted that her “light has dimmed.”
The star admitted she is “struggling” to get back on the dating scene and appearing on Celebs Go Dating is quite “emotional” as she tries to find love again.
