Lauryn Goodman claimed her four-year-old son Kairo “subconsciously views his father Kyle Walker as very distant” after she drew a family drawing.
The influencer, 33, revealed that Kairo had drawn Manchester City footballer Kyle “very out of place” in a family portrait taken at school.
Lauryn became embroiled in a paternity scandal with Kyle after he secretly fathered her two children, Kairo and 14-month-old daughter Kinara, during his marriage to Annie Kilner.
Speaking on his podcast Yours sincerely On Wednesday, Lauryn said: “When I say to him, ‘Who’s his family?’ he always says, ‘Me, Kiki and him,'” she said. “That’s what he classifies as his family.”
In the drawing, Kyle was at the bottom of the page, which Lauryn had been informed by a “play therapist” meant that Kairo sees his father as “very far away, there but not there.”
Lauryn Goodman has claimed her son Kairo ‘subconsciously views his father Kyle Walker as very distant’ after he drew a family drawing on Wednesday’s episode of her Yours Sincerely podcast.
The influencer, 33, revealed that Kairo had drawn Manchester City footballer Kyle (pictured in September) “very off the page” in a family portrait taken at school.
After seeing a ‘My Family’ letter written by Kairo at school, Lauryn said: ‘So it was a real shock to me when I was sitting in class minding our own business, learning phonics and maths with them, and I I turned right and this literally wiped me out.
‘I think when you go through everything, it hits you really hard, doesn’t it?
“(His photo and bio) said: “Dad plays soccer, but I’m the best at soccer in the world, and mom sleeps with me at bedtime. “Kiki likes to hold my hand.”
Then she turned her attention to the drawing he had made to accompany the letter, and said, “He made this drawing and it had Nana, Mama.”
“So it’s me, nana, Kiki and Cairo, Kiki’s really little too, anyway… miles away, almost off the page, is his father.”
Lauryn continued, “It’s interesting, because then I went and met with a play therapist and talked to her about this image, and she said that kids actually learn a lot about how they draw and what they write about.” and what they draw about.
“And I never really thought about that, because obviously when Kyra was younger, the cartoons used a whale or a soccer ball or they weren’t really family-oriented people. This is the first time I’ve seen this. It’s literally me. took him by surprise.
The influencer, who was embroiled in a paternity scandal after the footballer secretly fathered her two children, opened up on her Yours Sincerely podcast on Wednesday.
In the drawing, Kyle was at the bottom of the page, which Lauryn had been informed by a ‘play therapist’ meant that Kairo sees his father as ‘very far away, there but not there.’
“When I tell him who his family is, he always says: Kiki, him and me,” he added. ‘That’s what he classifies as his family’
But she said it’s really interesting that he drew her father. He couldn’t be further from us, from all of us, if he tried. It wouldn’t even, yeah, be off the page.
“And she said that subconsciously, that’s what he is, well, he sees his father as if he were very far away, like he was there but not there.”
In last week’s episode, Lauryn said she could never have hidden her daughter’s paternity since Kinara is Kyle’s “spit.”
Her co-host Lisa said she was “very surprised” at how much Kinara looked like Kyle, adding that Lauryn could never have hidden it.
Lauryn explained, “I know, that’s what I told him, and now that he’s getting older, how much does he look like Kairo?”
Lisa agreed: “I’ve never seen a child who looked so much like another human being, that’s more of a copy than Kairo.”
It comes after Kyle’s wife Annie Kilner ordered lawyers to launch legal proceedings as she prepares to fight for half of the Manchester City defender’s £27million fortune.
Lauryn said: “When Kairo was a baby, he looked like him, but not to the level of Keeks. It was mental. When I look back, the photos give me PTSD.
Lisa joked, “You could never have gotten away with that!” and Lauryn added, “Never!”
“You could never have mentioned Kyle’s name for the rest of your life, but one look at Keeks and people would have been like ‘no need for DNA!’
Lauryn explained: “Everyone knew it, everyone knew it when they saw it. They said, ‘they’re each other’s saliva’ and now she’s grown up, she really looks like Kairo.
‘Kyle didn’t think that (he and his daughter look alike) when he saw Keeks. Kyle didn’t think that, Kyle thought she was Kairo’s spit.
