Lorraine Kelly spoke candidly about aging gracefully, surgery, and being in her prime in her 60s when she covered Prima’s May issue.
The TV presenter, 63, told the publication that she believes the women who age the best are the ones who “have not done any work” because some may end up not recognizing themselves.
She also said that she feels as I thought she is currently in her prime and is now at a stage in her life where she dresses and does what she wants.
‘I think women who age best are those who have done no work–or only the bare minimum,’ she said, aging gracefully.
“Doing surgery is like improving a living room: You start by getting new curtains, then the rug looks worn out, so you change that out, and then the sofa just doesn’t fit.

“Soon, you don’t even know yourself anymore.”
Of being in her prime, she added, “It feels great to be my age. I think I was born at just the right time: 1959.”
I enjoyed all the music of the 70’s and 80’s, I enjoyed the 90’s and I’m now at that point in life where I can dress up and do whatever I like.
During the chat, she also opened up about imposter syndrome and how she sometimes questions her own ability.
“Because of my working-class background, I can develop imposter syndrome,” she explained.
I will ask myself, “Am I really good enough to be here?” Billy Connolly once told me you have to get over it. That’s right – you have to talk to yourself.

It came after last week’s Lauren left hot under the collar on Friday while she had a stormy flirtation with Reggie Jean Paige.
The star laughed and blushed her way through an interview with the actress, 34, where she gushed about him describing him as “the most handsome man in the world,” according to the Greek golden ratio of beauty Phi.
Reggie joined Lauren on her video chat show as he discussed his upcoming movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
But the conversation soon turned to the last study, with Reggie looking somewhat uncomfortable as Lauren congratulated him on his new title.
However, the Bridgerton star quickly relaxed when he and Lauren laughed it away, with the host at one point calling it “awesome” while also quipping: “Enjoy being the cutest thing in the world!”
Telling Reggie about the study, Lauren explained, “You know, a lot of scientists with their white coats and serious expressions got together and found out that you’re the most handsome guy in the world.”
Congratulations on that. Congratulations to your parents too!
When the hunk appeared to be reeling from the news, Lauren insisted: “It’s beautiful, it’s beautiful, but at the end of the day you’re a really good actor and that’s what’s most important.”
Laughing nervously, Reggie replied, “You use all the colors on the palette when making your art and I’m glad to have that realization somewhere out there. I’m sure it’s useful to someone somewhere.”
Then he added humbly, “It was news to me. It was news to everyone. But, you know, I’ll take it.”
The test, a mathematical formula devised in ancient Greece to determine “physical perfection” by comparing measurements, proportions and symmetry, has also seen the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Michael B Jordan and Harry Styles earn high scores.
As the interview ends, Lauren tells Reggie to “Come see me next time”.
Then she said to him: Enjoy, enjoy the attention. Enjoy being the most beautiful thing in the world and keep doing what you do.

Continuing to flirt, she added, “Nice to talk to you today, thank you, pretty!” , with Regé also adding “allegedly” in reference to his handsome status.
A shy Lauren quickly added, “It wasn’t just me, it was scientists,” before the two burst into laughter.
“Thank you, beautiful,” she concluded, “it’s a pleasure talking to you.”
