Republican firebrand Lauren Boebert scored a victory in her crowded primary in a new district Tuesday night.

The Colorado congresswoman moved from her 3rd District, where she barely eked out victory in 2022, to the more reliably Republican 4th District after Rep. Ken Buck dropped out.

After handily defeating five other Republicans, she is now comfortably positioned to win with a 13-point lead over the GOP in November.

The victory came after a difficult year of embarrassing scandals for the 37-year-old grandmother.

Last year, she was kicked out of a Beetlejuice performance in Denver for vaping and groping her partner. She separated from her husband in 2023 and the police were called several times due to altercations between the family.

The congresswoman’s son, Tyler, 18, made her a grandmother at 36 in April 2023 and is now awaiting trial after being arrested for theft in February of this year.

The race in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District was called 25 minutes after polls closed at 9 p.m. ET, with Boebert ahead by about 30 percent.

Boebert has attracted attention with her own professional antics.

He shouted out President Biden during his State of the Union and tweeted “This is 1776” during the January 6 Capitol riot.

Boebert, a Trump ally, received the endorsement of the former president, who called her a “trustworthy American fighter.” But even that endorsement sparked some backlash after Boebert became a divisive figure within the MAGA movement.

In November 2021, Boebert was forced to apologize after suggesting that hijab-wearing Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., was a terrorist.

‘One of my employees, on his first day with me, got into an elevator at the Capitol. And in that elevator Ilhan Omar joined us,’ Boebert told the crowd in September. “It was just the three of us there and I looked and said, well, look, it’s the Jihad Squad.

“She doesn’t have a backpack, she didn’t drop it and she ran, so we’re fine,” Boebert added of her fellow Somali refugee.

Boebert later posted her apology on
