Only 2.5 million viewers agreed to view the latest series of singles in the South African villa, compared to 3.3 million last June.
Of those who did watch the launch show, 1.2 million were between 16 and 34 years old – no fewer than 43 percent of viewers.

On Sunday, the blonde became the face of the very first winter series, with viewers enthusiastic about the “likable” star was the perfect choice to replace Caroline, 40, in the midst of her attack load.
The praise continued while she organized the spin-off show Aftersun on Monday, which is being filmed in the English capital.
Meanwhile, the show’s voice-over artist Iain Stirling threw his support behind his girlfriend Laura and called her “fantastic” in a sweet post.

The TV star – who last shared a post on her Instagram on Christmas Eve – wrote: “Good luck to Laura, Iain and the team for tonight’s launch show … the first always the best.” Caroline x ‘ [sic]
Caroline went back in December when she was accused of frequent violence after a fight with her boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27.

She appeared in court at the end of December about the incident with her friend – where a judge heard that she was hitting the former tennis player with a lamp while he slept – days after the news of her replacement was announced.
The court was told that she had read texts on Lewis’ phone that made her think he was cheating on her before the alleged attack.
Caroline – who did not plead guilty at the Highbury Magistrates’ Court – was released on bail until her trial on March 4.
