Laura Byrne has admitted she was left feeling mortified after an extremely embarrassing incident involving her husband Matty Johnson.
Talking to Brittany Hockley about the Life without cuts In a podcast, Laura, 38, detailed an unfortunate incident involving Matty, renovations and a bathroom.
“We went to a friend’s house who is renovating the house, so they’ve completely gutted it, right? Everything still works, but they’ve gutted the walls, the interiors and the floors because they’re doing a light cosmetic renovation,” The Bachelor star said.
‘So, we were halfway there when we got there and Matt had just finished a burrito when we got there, and a coffee, and Matt’s coffee is a triple-shot latte.’
Laura later revealed that shortly after, nature began to take its course.
“We were there for a while and all of a sudden Matt said, ‘I’m going to go to the bathroom,’ and he left,” she said.
“He came out and he was white as a ghost. Completely white from top to bottom. I said, ‘What happened?’ And he said, ‘I just assumed.'”
“And I said, ‘You assumed what? ‘ and he said, ‘I assumed the water was still on because there’s no portable toilet here. ‘”

“There’s no water in the cistern, there’s no water in the… I was like, ‘You just shit in a dry toilet,'” he said.
“He didn’t look, he just went and sat down and did it.”
Brittany chimed in again with some advice: “Put your hand in a bag like it’s dog poop and pick it up.”

“What do you do?” He covered it with toilet paper, wiped it down, closed the lid, and then emailed the builder and said, “I’m so sorry.”
Fans of the podcast were quick to offer suggestions on how to fix the unfortunate bathroom accident.
“It’s an old-fashioned flush,” one comment begins. “Just pour 2-3 liters (you can use bottles or a bucket) straight in and you’re good to go.”
“It helps to grow up in a developing world where you had to manually pour water into the toilet bowl to flush it,” added another.
“Adding toilet paper made it worse.”
