Laura Byrne went to the beach with her family this weekend to soak up the sun.

The radio presenter and her husband Matty Johnson took their two young daughters swimming at Bondi Beach on Sunday.

The 38-year-old stripped down to a black bikini that showcased her slim and toned figure.

She kept herself partially covered in a short multicolored sarong and carried a bodyboard over her head.

The brunette added a pair of sunglasses and a bucket hat to her beach look as she pulled her hair back and skipped makeup.

Laura had arrived at the beach with her family wearing pink wide-leg pants and a light black shirt.

She also wore a pair of black and white sandals and held her daughter’s hand as she walked toward the sand.

Meanwhile, Matty, 37, looked summery in a green shirt and white shorts paired with a bucket hat of the same color.

The former reality star completed the casual look with a pair of sunglasses and white canvas sneakers.

The couple was accompanied by their daughters Marlie-Mae, five, and Lola, three.

It comes after Matty looked a little worse for wear this festive season.

The Bachelor star took to social media with a tearful selfie the night before Christmas.

Matty’s right eye was red and swollen and he sported a five o’clock shadow in the identifiable post.

“Antibiotics are working…I think,” the father of two wrote while posing with a half-hearted thumbs up.

Matty and his wife Laura have been busy renovating a “rundown” coastal property they bought in August.

However, the reality TV lovebirds put down the tools for the holiday, as Matty hit the beach with his two daughters for a dip in the ocean and then Laura revved up the party at North Bondi RSL.

The podcaster let her hair down as she took the pub stage to dance in summery white linen pants and a bandeau top.

Laura divided the nation with her highly controversial stance on what is the best Christmas chocolate late last year.

Laura took to Instagram to crown Ferrero Rocher, as she filmed a beautifully wrapped gift box.

Within the mixed collection of the brand’s greatest hits is the classic hazelnut version, the white chocolate and coconut Raffaello and the dark chocolate Rondnoir.

“The white Raffaello is the best,” the radio star insisted in her video, adding that the hazelnut is “delicious” but the dark chocolate version “stinks.”

Then, Laura invited her followers to vote for which is the best of the three, with the votes divided.

The Ferrero Rocher gift box is a Christmas staple and is usually on sale during the Christmas season in popular supermarkets.

By late Monday afternoon, the votes were 54 percent preferring the classic hazelnut milk, 38 percent preferring the white and only 9 percent choosing the dark.

Matty and Laura are enjoying a well-deserved break after hitting a major roadblock renovating their $2.2 million beach house.

The reality TV couple has gone for a retro ’70s style for the space, with mid-century stained wood cabinets matching the light brown floor tiles.

But their extensive renovation has faced many problems since they began renovating the house, from termites to rotting wood and mold.

Laura posted a behind-the-scenes video showing how they had stripped down the ruined property and revealed the shocking discoveries they found.

“There was no way to really know what this Reno had in store for us, or how complete the rebuild was going to have to be until we started removing walls and pulling up carpet,” he shared.

“We’ve encountered termites, white ants, rotting wood, mold and more than a few snakes along the way, but it’s finally taking shape and we’re slowly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Calling the house Chante-Mer, which means “The Sea Sings” in French, Laura also told how construction had to stop for a week so exterminators could rid the site of pests.

“We had to replace all the walls and internal structures in the entire kitchen,” he continued.

Despite the challenges, Laura stayed positive and shared how they plan to transform the abandoned beach house into a luxurious three-bedroom, two-bathroom home.

Located on a clifftop in Ulladulla, on the southern tip of the New South Wales coast, 226 kilometers from Sydney, the two-storey former home offers stunning views of the water.

The house last changed hands in 1984 for just $62,500, and Laura and Matty spent $2.19 million buying it in August.

The venue has special meaning for the happy couple, who tied the knot in 2022 at Cupitts Estate Winery, just down the road from their new holiday home.

The house covers 746 square meters overlooking Racecourse Beach and was previously owned by United Nations simultaneous conference translator Valerie Barnes, who died in 2021 aged 94.
