‘We found this at Woolies, but need some inspiration – what sauce do we serve it with?’ a woman asked.

And she was inundated with responses.

“Serve it with queso cheese sauce,” one woman suggested.

“I used to cook 500g of minced meat and mix vegetables with bolognaise sauce and mix with the ravioli,” said another mother, adding that the dish was a favorite in her house.

“I’d dress with a salsa akin to serving tacos and a good dollop of sour cream,” said another.

Some people suggested making a tomato sauce and adding more taco seasoning and black beans.

Another suggested a Mexican sauce of three cheeses.

While one mom said she just used salsa ‘from the fries department’.

“We used two cans of diced tomatoes and a can of salsa with some fried bacon for the sauce, then grated cheese and a dollop of sour cream on top,” added another mother.

The wife’s post was very popular with many people, who were torn about whether to “make it a Mexican dish” with guacamole and chili or serve it as ravioli with tomato sauce and Parmesan.
