Biden brought in $579,514 last year and paid a 23.8 percent tax rate, paying $169,820 in federal, Delaware and Virginia income taxes.
They give about 3.5 percent of their income to charity, which comes to $20,180, distributed among 20 charities.
The largest donation was of $5,000 to the Beau Biden Foundation, named after their late son.
They also donated dollars to the National Fraternity Police Foundation.

In 2019, Biden reported an income of nearly $1 million thanks to book sales, speeches, and his teaching at the University of Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia Community College.
The presidential salary is set at $400,000, while Biden is still attending community college.
She is the first lady to hold a paying job while in the White House.
Dr. Biden earned $82,335 for her teaching last year.
Historically, Biden has been one of the poorest members of the US Senate, having been elected at the age of 29.
He was moved to and from Washington by Amtrak because he could not afford a home in the D.C. area.

Former President Donald Trump broke with tradition and refused to make his tax returns public as a candidate and then while in office.
Congressional Democrats have, for years, tried to get hold of Trump’s tax returns, and in December they were freed by the House Ways and Means Committee, before Republicans took control of the House.
Vice President Kamala Harris and second in command Doug Emhoff reported income of $456,918 in 2022.
They paid $93,570 in federal income tax, with a tax rate of 20.5 percent.
They also paid $17,612 in California income tax and Emhoff paid $9,697 to the District of Columbia.
$23,000 was donated to charity by Harris and Emhoff in 2022, paying slightly more than Biden.
The vice president’s salary is set at $235,100 annually.
