The Las Vegas Raiders had a flight delay of several hours on Saturday, leaving them late to New Orleans for their meeting with the Saints on Sunday.
Las Vegas hoped to depart in the morning, but a mechanical problem with the plane prevented that.
Instead, the Raiders had to wait for a second plane, which didn’t leave the city until around 10:00 PM ET.
Kickoff for the game between Las Vegas and New Orleans was at 1:00 PM ET.
The delay forced the Raiders to hold team meetings at their facility instead of the team’s hotel.
Las Vegas is 3-12 this season and has already been eliminated from the playoffs while in the midst of a 10-game skid that finally ended last weekend.

The 5-10 Saints, however, stayed alive — if only mathematically — until last Sunday, the day before their 34-0 loss in Green Bay.
Both teams drew 2-2 in September before their seasons abruptly fell apart.
The Raiders went nearly three months without a win before last Sunday’s victory against Jacksonville.
The Saints have lost seven in a row after starting 2-0, and their Week 9 loss at Carolina was followed by the firing of third-year coach Dennis Allen.
