The latest threat comes hours after a Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel, sparking fears of a coordinated terror attack.

Police are on scene near Fremont Street and Charleston Boulevard, along with SWAT teams and crisis negotiators.

It is believed one person has barricaded themselves inside a bus, but it is not clear if there are others who are also locked inside.

The area surrounding the unfolding situation is closed to the public.

It is understood the incident was first reported to police because a person was wielding a knife 8 News Now.

Police are being praised today for ‘overworking’ after previously responding to a possible terror threat that left seven injured and one dead.

The $80,000 car, made by Trump ally Elon Musk’s company Tesla, was seen in a fiery blaze outside the hotel’s revolving doors, killing one and injuring seven around 8:40 am.

Charred fireworks, gas canisters and camping fuel were found in the bed of the truck when authorities were finally able to extinguish the fire.

Police are investigating whether the incident is related to a terrorist attack in New Orleans in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

The police announced on Wednesday afternoon that they are currently investigating possible links and have not yet ruled anything out.

‘Do I think it’s a coincidence? I don’t know,” said Sheriff Kevin McMahill. “We are definitely exploring any connections to New Orleans.”

At a news conference, agents investigating the incident revealed that the Cybertruck was hired from Turo in Colorado and driven across the border into Nevada at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The explosion occurred just an hour later.
