Larsa Pippen has admitted her relationship with Michael Jordan’s son Marcus has made things “awkward” with the NBA legend and former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen.
Larsa, 49, was married to Scottie but is now dating Marcus de Jordan, who at 32 is 17 years younger than her.
Now, speaking on the Whine Down podcast, Larsa opened up about how her relationship may have impacted others related to the couple.
‘I am not crazy. The relationship is probably awkward for them (Michael and Scottie),’ she admitted.
“I don’t ask him (Scottie) about his personal affairs. He doesn’t ask me questions about my personal affairs. We talk about our children and that’s it.

Larsa, 49, says she doesn’t discuss her new relationship with ex-husband Scottie
“We (Larsa and Marcus) have our own relationship. We have our own daily life. It really doesn’t involve anyone but us and my children.
Larsa and Scottie had four children together. They first separated in 2016, reconciled and then split for good in 2018 after 14 years of marriage.
Paparazzi in France – where he was on vacation – recently asked Michael Jordan if he approved of his son’s relationship.
“No” was his simple answer, as he left a restaurant alongside his wife Yvette.
Scottie, meanwhile, hasn’t addressed the relationship himself, but seems to have an ax to grind regarding Jordan.
Pippen recently claimed in an interview that Jordan, widely regarded as the best player in NBA history, was “a horrible player” before becoming teammates.
“I saw Michael Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls,” Pippen said. “You saw him play, he was a horrible player.
“He was horrible to play with, he was one-on-one, he takes bad shots. All of a sudden we become a team and we start winning, everyone forgot who he was.
Shortly after these comments surfaced, Stephen A. Smith accused Pippen of betraying Jordan.
The pair won the NBA Championship between 1991-93 and 1996-98 as the Bulls chained two famous three rounds.
