Larry Emdur makes a tidy profit after selling his house in The Rocks for $4.3 million – five years after buying it for $3.2 million

TV host Larry Emdur and his wife Sylvie have made a decent profit selling their New York-inspired at home in The Rocks, Sydney.

The couple’s real estate agent son Jye Emdur sold their art-deco three-bedroom apartment for $4.3 million after just a few weeks on the market, reports news.com.au

The Emdurs had bought the property in 2017 for $3.19 million.

They unloaded the warehouse conversion before the scheduled auction in April, but the sale price was not disclosed until Tuesday.

Larry and Sylvie are expected to move into their new place in Darling Point.

The couple bought the house five years ago after selling their cliffside property in Dover Heights for $11.5 million.

The apartment has been converted from a 1924 building previously used as a depot for the Cadbury candy company.

There is a private elevator entrance and two of the bedrooms have marble ensuites.

The home also has a luxury kitchen with cocktail bar and fireplace.

It comes after the host of The Chase sold his investment condo in Bondi Beach at auction in February for $1,055 million.

That address had collected $850 a week in rent before it changed hands.

The Emdurs also own an eco-friendly holiday home converted from an old shipping container in Kangaroo Valley.
