Lara, an aspiring singer and current co-chair of the Republican National Committee, went on to say that Trump is facing “nothing but misinformation and misinformation.”

Lara’s remarks come as the Republican National Committee makes an about-face by promoting incorrect claims that there was “massive fraud” during the 2020 election that Trump lost to President Joe Biden.

The claims of “massive fraud” are made in a robocall voiced by Lara that was sent to 145,000 voters during the first week of April, reports CNN.
‘We all know the problems. No photo ID, unsecured voting drop boxes, mass mailing of ballots, and voter lists full of dead people and non-citizens are just a few examples of the massive fraud that took place,” Lara says on the call.
“If the Democrats have their way, your vote could be voided by someone who isn’t even a U.S. citizen.”
“I’m sure you agree with Co-President Trump that we cannot allow the chaos and questions of the 2020 election to happen again,” Lara continues.
Earlier this month, CNN reported that potential new employees at the RNC were asked during the interview process if they believed the 2020 election was legitimate.
There is no evidence that the 2020 election was tainted, and Republicans and Trump appointees, including former Attorney General William Barr, acknowledged that widespread fraud did not occur.
In six states, Trump loyalists filed 60 court cases related to the election. They were all fired.
Last month, the Republican National Committee voted to install Trump’s hand-picked leadership team, completing its takeover of the national party as the former president prepares to be officially named the Republican nominee once again.

The functional head of the RNC will be Chris LaCivita, who will assume the role of the committee’s chief of staff while maintaining his position as one of the Trump campaign’s two top advisers.
McDaniel was hand-picked by Trump to lead the committee seven years ago, but was forced to resign after Trump’s MAGA movement increasingly blamed her for losses in recent years.
She alluded to this in her farewell speech in March, telling members that she was most concerned about “internal cohesion” ahead of the elections.
“We have to stop attacking other Republicans,” he said. “If we spend our time attacking each other, we guarantee that the Democrats are going to win.”
He also told the party it needs to engage independent and undecided voters, warning: “We won’t win if we just talk to each other.”
While McDaniel received a standing ovation after her farewell, the new leadership enthusiastically embraced the change, and Lara, accompanied by her husband, Eric Trump, was greeted like a celebrity, with members lining up to take photos with her.
With Trump’s blessing, LaCivita promises to implement sweeping changes and personnel changes at all levels of the RNC to ensure it runs smoothly as an extension of the Trump campaign.

Whatley, a lawyer, has largely avoided using Trump’s characterization of Biden’s victory, saying in a 2021 interview that Biden was “absolutely” legitimately elected and won a majority of the electoral college votes.
