Lara Trump captivated the packed Mar-a-Lago crowd when she performed a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” at Donald Trump’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration.
Prominent party attendees – including Elon Musk, JD Vance and the president-elect himself – couldn’t take their eyes off Lara as she belted out the classic rock tune.
The former RNC co-chair and wife of Eric Trump publicly released her version of the popular song earlier this year.
Footage from the extravagant event shows Musk holding his son X on his shoulders as he looks and listens intently to Lara.
Lara father-in-law is seen performing alongside his ‘First Buddy’ Musk. Trump seemed focused on the song as he barely moves during the video and looks content.
Melania stands right behind her husband, with a similarly focused facial expression.
Other members of the audience wore beaming smiles as they listened, especially the incoming vice president.
Vance bumped his head and grinned from ear to ear as he appeared in the music video.

This year’s exclusive party is expected to take place 300 guests, the Palm peach post reported.
Among the high-profile attendees were Donald Trump Jr. and his new girlfriend Bettina Anderson – who made their first public debut as a couple at the event.
While President-elect Trump, who is hosting the glamorous party, answered a few questions from the media on his way to the event.
He told the press he wishes Biden well and pointed out how far behind the Democrat was in the polls and his performance during the infamous Georgia debate.
“He had a chance to do it in the debate and it didn’t work out so well for him,” Trump said.
The president-elect also expressed confidence in his Cabinet nominees and demanded the release of Hamas’ Israeli hostages.

He reiterated his support for House Speaker Mike Johnson, explaining that the current leader would be the only Republican who could get the votes in a speaker battle.
Trump also confirmed he would attend Jimmy Carter’s funeral, but would not say whether he had spoken to the late president’s family.
“I’d rather not say that,” Trump told reporters, including DailyMail.com.

She also stopped for a quick chat with Paolo Zampoli, her former modeling agent – and the man who introduced her to the newly elected president.
Zampolli discovered the future first lady in Milan in the 1990s and helped obtain her H-1B visa. He hosted a party for the president after he won the 2016 election.
US Senator Ted Cruz walked the red carpet, with his wife Heidi – who Trump once insulted – not far behind.
