Lana Del Rey’s whirlwind romance with alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene will become official when the star obtained a marriage license this week.
The Summertime Sadness hitmaker, 39, who attended a recent wedding with her partner, picked up her license Monday with Dufrene in tow, according to the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court by TMZ.
The license must still be returned and registered.

The singer met the father-of-two for the first time in 2019, before being seen holding hands with him on August 25 in England.

He then attended Karen Elson’s wedding to Dufrene earlier this month, with the loved-up couple holding hands at the star-studded bash, which was attended by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
This came just days after she broke her silence about their rumored romance, with a comment under an Instagram post by @thejustnlife, speculating about their relationship.
She was previously seen holding hands with Dufrene before her performance at Leeds Festival two weeks ago, with fans speculating that she dropped a big hint about her rumored lover in one of her songs.
“I wanted to take a boat tour because it’s a big deal in Louisiana.” But she never expected to fall in love with the captain of an alligator boat.
The couple first met when Lana performed at Buku Music + Art Project in Louisiana in March 2019. She met Jeremy that week and shared a photo of him kissing an alligator.
At the time, both Lana and Jeremy, co-owner of Airboat Tours by Arthur in Des Allemands, Louisiana, were in a relationship.
The source said: “When Lana visited the area again in May to perform at Hangout Fest, they were both single and reconnected.”

Her relationship with Jeremy initially worried her friends who were convinced they would discover something suspicious about the divorced father of three.
Lana made her romance with Dufrene official earlier this month, when they attended Karen Elson’s star-studded wedding.
Lana shared a photo on Instagram in 2019 of Jeremy kissing an alligator. At the time, both Lana and Jeremy were in relationships with other people.
Lana’s friends (pictured with Lana and Jeremy on an airboat ride in 2019) did some research only to find good things about the “romantic” swamp-sailing captain.
But they soon realized that he treats her well and gives her what she “needs” in a partner.
“His friends and team did some research on him out of fear he might be using her, but his business is lucrative and he doesn’t need or want Lana’s money,” the source said.
‘You can see that he treats her well and that she requires very, very little maintenance. He gives her what she looks for in a man and is romantic.
Lana went public with her relationship with Jeremy on August 25, when the couple was seen holding hands and having a romantic dinner together in London after she performed at the Leeds Festival.
The source added: “She took him to her most recent run of shows in the UK, which was a big step.” He is a good boy and she is tremendously attracted to him. ‘He is a good father and no one who knows him has anything bad to say about him.’
During Lana’s initial alligator boat tour in 2019, she shared photos with her fans on Instagram and Facebook.
In the caption, the Born to Die singer wrote: “Jeremy let me be the captain of Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.”
One of the snaps showed her sitting next to Jeremy with her tongue hanging out as he helped her steer the airboat.
He also appeared in the background of a photo of Lana posing with her friends during the tour.
She heavily promoted Jeremy’s workplace in the post by sharing a photo of Arthur’s Air Boat Tours’ handmade sign and the company’s phone number.
Jeremy also posted a photo with Lana on his own Instagram, writing, “I never know who I might run into on my tours but it’s always a pleasure @lanadelrey.”
He looked absolutely smitten with the brunette beauty in the photo as they posed with their arms wrapped around each other next to the swampy water.
But the pair didn’t date right away, and Lana dated Live PD hunk Sean Larkin, 52, after their first meeting.
She then began dating Clayton Johnson, whom she became engaged to but later called off.
Jeremy is a father of two and works as a tour guide at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours, a small business located in the unincorporated community of Des Allemands, Louisiana.
She was then rumored to be having affairs with Salem rocker Jack Donoghue and, more recently, musician Evan Winiker.
She seemed to have her sights set on the swamp expert when she returned in May, when she enlisted the help of her friends to accompany her on one of Jeremy’s famous airboat excursions.
She documented the swamp adventure on her Instagram and even tagged her rumored boyfriend in a post published on May 16.
“Family with my boy @jeremy.dufrene,” Lana wrote in the caption.
Fans speculate that Lana hinted that she wanted a relationship like the one she apparently has with Jeremy over a decade ago in her song Cola and believe that the singer has made her type clear from the beginning.
