A luxury sports car went up in flames as police searched for two people who were carrying jerry cans shortly before the blaze broke out.
A 2022 Lamborghini Huracan, valued at $400,000, burst into flames at 1 a.m. Tuesday in Sydney Olympic Park, western Sydney.
The emergency services arrived on the scene and it took five fire crews more than an hour to extinguish the fire.
NSW police said the fire could be linked to organized crime, with the car allegedly bombed in an underworld revenge attack. The Daily Telegraph reported.

The $400,000 luxury sports car was rented and not owned by the driver who parked it near Olympic Park.
Police have now issued an appeal to the public for anyone with information about two people seen in the area earlier that evening.
Local residents said the driver parked the car at midnight and left it on the verge.
During the fire, a nearby BMW was damaged by the heat of the flames.
NSW Police told Daily Mail Australia they had no additional information on the men seen just before the blaze and that it is currently an open investigation.
